Thanks for the suggestions. I just looked up both options. Ink Table is pretty nice, and with an AI opponent. Tabletop has a pretty high-up point of view, and I feel that I can get better graphics with my physical setup. Maybe it would help if I moved the camera up so that the battlefield was less cramped? I can give it more space, but I will lose some definition. What do you think? (Or maybe that isn't the problem at all XD)

Didn't like your idea to remove Goat. Most of my game i would prefer to play Rabbid T4 than Goat. I know Goat can help you win game but that's not our win condition at all. I found 2 Elephant would be enought. At Cost 4 many card can battle for this spot, I saw somepeople play Madrigal cost 4 draw card if opponnent has exerted card. Anyway im trying to play Blupurple for Set 5.. Still trying to figure out to fit 2 Yzma in the deck lol Maybe I would cut some Goat too.

@@NickRondo Nice! Maybe a 2-2 Elephant/Goat split would do the trick. It is funny how goats are our go-to to sacrifice ;)

I'm inclined to agree, feel like some ruby chromicons and rafikis could replace the broom and crabs, that's at least how i wanna build the deck going into set 5, also dont think the flynn sisu package will be great this set tbh

@@Briggetchu25I mean the list will probably still be good but I think 4 mim elephant is too many, I’d go with 2 at most and maybe the new Elsa to play on curve. Exert a character and have mim challenge putting damage on her. I think the Rafiki and Ruby item can be good too but can be iffy too I think it’s just as good though.

@@Briggetchu25Yeah I’m sort of in agreement with the flynn sisu stuff but I think it could still be played but at a reduced ratio like 3-3 or 2 flynn 3 sisu you really only need flynn to gain lore 2-3 times for you to most likely win lol

@@beardedcat9744 if you run the flynn sisu you should be running both at 4, the combo just doesn't really work without that, big agree on mim elephant

@@Briggetchu25 Yeah i think the deck will probably still play the flynn sisu combo, but I can see not playing it as well. If you can drop a character with 4 strength by turn 3 you’re most likely going to out lore them. But yeah it’s unknown what deck build for RA is good I’m trying out Gaston for 2 drop to deal with Daisy but that may be too slow too.

@@joeburns1845 Crab can turn the 1-drops or Merlin Rabbit into removal. A rushing Cogsworth with a crab is a powerful rushing 1-drop! With that said, with Maui and Mim Fox, I'm not sure how much we need more combat tricks. Merlin crab would be one of the first cards I would cut from the list.

I don't think that mufasa is very good. He forces you to remove cards from you ink pool which is generally negative. He is also a high-costed (8) uninkable with no shift option. If you get a turn with him on the board, the double-your-ink is devastating, but I can't buy-in because of the downsides above.

@@GeniusYoshi I mean there’s not too many downsides. Play him on turn 8, draw 2 essentially then on the next turn play one jump ahead or even friend like me. Quest for 4 then load up. The positives outweigh the negatives.its one of those cards where when it hits the board your opponent better have an answer. Plus most of the time you’re gonna be playing this on turn 6 or 7. Removing cards from your Inkwell isn’t bad especially when you can just quill them back or ramp back in many other ways. Mark my words mufasa is gonna be a force to reckon with. The only thing really is if aggro is super strong early on then sapphire may not be as good

@@TeamVajify I like the idea of playing him with 'Friends like me'. You might be right, but there are a few very strong uninkable 7-8 drops that aren't played. Remember Elsa and Hades? I'm looking forward to trying it out and seeing if it makes the meta!

I think that discarding a 0-card hand is perfectly acceptable. In the comprehensive rules it states "A hand can't have fewer than 0 cards in it" which lead me to believe that a 0-card hand is still a hand.

Hehe, I'm not a big fan of what he does for a non-shiftable 6-drop. I could be underestimating the card though. He does provide a lot of protection to your board. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

The fact that you only get the fetch if you shift Merlin is going to make it a bit restrictive. I think that it will create a Merlin-Box Archetype, but it won't be overly splashable.

Prince John's mirror is an interesting card that I could have included in the lower half of the top 10. Honestly, I kind of forgot about it, hehe. Because the discard effect happens at the end of the turn, the opponent can play around it a bit. Lets agree to disagree on Mim Elephant; but thanks for sharing your feedback on my list!

I agree that the more cards there are in the pool, the fewer new viable options there are for competitive decks. I think that the set offers quite a variety of nice build-around cards to try out. I have a good list built out and will start presenting lists and gameplay soon ;).

The problem with Robin Hood, is that it activates only when he quest. Ariel's effect goes of when you play her. Besides that, Ariel is inkable, Robin hood isn't, and Ariel has singer 5, which is really relevant, for a lot of good songs are 5.

and of course, with Robin Hood you have to play it right away, where it might nog be usefull at that right moment. With ariel you add the song to your hand, and can also be ink, or discard fodder. The upside for Robin Hood is that is a action, not specifically a song

I agree with what user-hh5fy3rs5z mentioned. The same ting is true about Prince Naveen. There is no counter-play that the opponent can do to an enter-the-battlefield ability, while having to wait a full turn to exert and activate is slower and prone to removal. With that said, the Ruby Robin hood is really cool and I'm looking forward to try it out! (I did have him on my 15-cards short list ;) )

The new Jafar is interesting. It can lock up a board position pretty well. I don't like that he is susceptible to Brawl though.

Naveen seems pretty good. Turn 4 Naveen + Whole new world, then Turn 5 Daisy Duck and Smee aggro puts a lot of pressure. Then turn 6 play Pete to prevent Be Prepared on 7.

I had completely forgotten about the singing of Under the Sea during the games. Thanks for bringing it up! I knew that there was a good opportunity to use Under the Sea that I missed.

TBF, this deck, or at least the core of it, is being played since the beginning of the season.

I wasn't aware of the list, but didn't really look for it. I look at the top lists every couple of weeks to keep a pulse on the metagame, but I don't look too much at what other youtubers do or all the tournament lists. It is good to know that this list is played competitively! Thanks for the info.

Kida seems to strugle against Ruby. For one turn all your characters are in the Browl, Sisu Empowered Sibling and probably even Sisu - Daring Visitor range. Plus everything that have strength restriction (e.g. emerald bounce)

Honestly, I just forgot about it :P. She would have helped accomplish the purpose of the deck pretty well. Like @KlamczuchLoki, she does expose some extra weaknesses though.

Nop; the deck gets destroyed by Ruby-Amethyst control. Maui and Be Prepared a big problems. The deck can also be optimized from the lessons learned from this build.

I'll try to revisit the archetype with Shimmering Skies. For now, I would probably add a couple of Scuttles. It is always difficult to trim and optimize. A lot of it comes from playtesting. :)

Thanks for pointing it out, you had me look up the comprehensive rules :). You are right, the Bogo-Phillip combo didn't work in game 1. From comprehensive rules: "4.3.4.8. If an effect would trigger as a result of any of the steps for playing a card, that effect waits to resolve until the card and its effect are fully played and resolved."

@@GeniusYoshi yep. Still possible to make a powerfull dmg-deck. Just Philipp is currently Not that great, because we Lack Ramp in Green. I tried a Morph+trumpetmickey+little phil Variant with heihei. If you can pull it Off, IT's nice. Bit currently my Hades-combo-ping without bogo, but with Simba (small+7cost) plus Cheshire Cat (2 and 8 Cost) works better.

I think that both plays are about equal in my mind. Beast had 1hp and Tinkerbell had 3hp left, and Tinkerbell is the better card once Beast has damage on it. I made the play to trade the Beast to keep the stronger position. I think that it makes it worth giving up a Pinocchio on the other side of the board. If it quests, I can clean it up and get a Tinkerbell trigger. It also doesn't have anything to challenge. Then again, it is Mim food, and can quest for 1 lore at least once.
