Adhd autisim cptsd and learning dissibilities here I'm 28 and i feel so helpless i try extreamly hard but I feel like a waste of space and I always come back to the strong desire to separate my counciouness from my vessel feeling like when I'm ok I'm just ignoring the fact that that I'm not capable to achieve much I'm really lost and I feel like I don't belong in this world I'm in therapy and got meds but nothing is helping and I'll never be ok. To anyone out there going what I'm going through and my neurodiversity only thing I can say is your not alone.

Wtf? I've had to correct my "psychiatrists" almost everytime i visited one😂😂😂. There must be a faster way? The final exam must be easier than an IQ test. (Bad comparison considering its fairly unlikely any psychiatrist i met would score high enough to be counted on an IQ test 🤦
C'mon, you can't put the word Cotard, Fregoli, and Capgras in the title without expecting to summon an entire fanbase.

I'm curious what your assessment and diagnosis would be for someone "not wearing bright colors." Perhaps if they are wearing colors inappropriate for the season (IE Winter), you'd expand their diagnosis. I'm also curious if you'd make general assumptions about what classifies "unkempt," or if you'd even consider cultural relativity when it comes to standards of hygiene. I think this kind of information would be useful in your videos.

Comments 9 on 22-8-2022. tangent .5 cosine squared to .64 then sine .5 cosine squared to point 27 is the algorithm present on the snake (cadacus)that appears on the emblem for the royal college of psychiatrist (19th century). The same thing is also present in movie script as well since these algorithms are all part of a post graduate knowledge base. My area is history and cultural theory. The presentation in this film sounds to me as if a child has made it. The mathematical side of things is commonly avoided by people seeking employement in these areas. That may account for the absence of PhD in many workers. The algorithm given here is for beginners. Some BA post grads maybe in possession of it.

I’m a 28 year old male from Britain with what I believe is some sort of frontal lobe damage (I’ve had 2 head injuries in the past) and I did a year of boxing as well as playing sport all my childhood. I was around 24 when my symptoms started, and my symptoms were autistic-like symptoms, (time orientated, rigidity, withdrawn etc) and the inability to work out proverbs! I remember CONSTANTLY asking myself ‘what does stuck between a rock and a hard place’ over and over again! I was also a practicing Christian and in a single day I gave up my belief in god.

Is emergency psychiatry an area of psychiatry too?
@PsychStudent2 жыл бұрын
Hi, so all areas will see some emergency presentations of psychiatry. If you mean within an A&E department for example most would be seen by the psychiatry liaison service within a general hospital and this team usually contains general adult psychiatrists. Unless there is a different specialist needed for example they might need to call in a children's psychiatrist if the patient was younger. Services vary a bit by location.

The problem with using 'first-rank symptoms' to diagnose schizophrenia is that disorganized, catatonic and negative symptoms are not represented at all. It only pointed to the paranoid subtype.

When i was younger, my father went to many central African countries for military ordinance disposal, he'd be away for 6 months at a time and return for a week.. This haunts me, but i can remember one day when he came back, i didn't believe it was him anymore, i still saw him like he always was, but i thought he was someone else pretending to be my dad.. Now like 15y later, i love my dad, he's my role model, But it has affected me.. I've never been able to have a good connection with him after.. I feel like this Capgrass syndrome is disturbingly similar to what i experience(d
