I find it fascinating that in YuGiOh Sevens, Asana's Summon Chant for her Maximum Monster, Wyrm Excavator the Heavy Cavalry Draco, was based off this chant of Yugi's. "Cry, resound, oh dragon of black steel! Sunder mountains, gouge the earth! Spread your Heavy Cavalry Way across this flattened world! Maximum Summon! Wyrm Excavator The Heavy Cavalry Draco!" Theres something that i find quite intriguing in Asana as a reflection of Yugi Muto in Sevens, specifically a Yugi separated from Atem. Maybe Yuga would have been more like her without his own Atem in Otes in the way...

Apparently Gandora was based on King Ghidorah from Godzilla. Gandora also kind of sounds like Ghidorah even though I'm not sure that was a coincidence or not. Gandora was supposedly a play on the japanese pronunciation of dragon, which is "doragon."

When I saw this dragon for the first time in the cinema, I thought it was a ritual due to the magic card and the violence that Yugi imposed on his own voice while saying the prayer to summon this monster.

I loved seeing Yugi so confident in his dueling ability. He stood right up to duel Aigami and then jumped at Kaiba right after, winning both duels. This is the real Duel King.

cause atem left him with his title, kaiba at first only saw yugi simply as the pharohs vessel and didnt think much but as there duel progressed you saw kaiba smirk indicating he changed his thoughts on yugi

@@devantemungin7060Kaiba didn't almost win, his face down card was polymerization, which he drew at the start but never played. He set it down as a bluff but it would do nothing against Final Geas. No cards in hand, in grave, nor on field. Kaiba would've lost.

@devantemungin7060 Kaiba was gonna use his Trap to replicate Poly when he had two Blue Eyes in hand earlier and another in the GY, his original plan was to summon Neo Blue Eyes, but was stumped when Yugi got in his head. Made him use the Monster Reborn hastily instead of waiting a turn. Instead of a regular Blue Eyes, he choose Deep Eyes.
