how do i take the rail of to put a mlock one on

Is this RIF is converted to HPA… can the spring guide be left out of the gearbox completely? It seems the stock is bolted into a hole in the back of the lower receiver? So not into the gearbox in any way… is that correct? I see people take a hacksaw to their spring guides in some cases to make room for the (upgraded) grip line… Trying to figure out if that isn’t needed with this RIF as a base to build from/with. Any insights are greatly appreciated. Nice video 👍🏻

Does this gun need a lot of internal upgrades to make it reliable? I have been trying to get back into airsoft and when I first started playing I was younger and never touched the insides of my guns. Now that I am doing research I am finding that a lot of guns, after extensive use, the gear box and other internals fry them selves. I am trying on getting a gun that does not require a lot of work and is reliable enough to last till I die. (If that is unreasonable please lmk) I was looking at the novritsch ssr15 because my friend bought one. But turns out they have horrible quality control and the gear box has a tendency to die. It also seem weird that lots of guns even though the are 600+ dollars have lots of internal issues. Is it just part of airsoft that you need to upgrade your gun or is there a holy grail that is bullet proof that will last forever? I’m sorry if this was really long but I’m so lost on what to do.
