Acme Nitrol work gloves at Ace Hardware. They're not thin like chemical gloves but they will protect you and they last. Best of all they fit extra small to extra large. You can still snap your fingers and I say that's a good glove. About nine bucks a pair. I've been wearing them for about 15 years. I'm actually shocked it lasted 26 years being a diesel that eats its own feces. Todays diesel don't even stand a chance of that.

Next time soak the intake in gasoline! The carbon deposits will melt away like magic. I have a tub of gas for just that with a one way check valve that let's the fumes out so it isn't as likely to explode if near a spark. But it's outside anyway

Check the vent on differential they rust close and the fluid heats up expands and pushes out the axle seals
