Hello Phil THANK YOU! I watched this video, I've always wanted my wife and I to travel First Class (proper), I used to sometimes travel 1st class between Tabuk and Jeddah for work (early 1980s), you didn't get much extra for the money. So the chance to travel First Class proper was just to good to miss. I decided not to stick around in Hong Kong and fly back to Bangkok, we couldn't afford First Class back, so I booked economy (still a great result). We've booked a whole trip, a couple of jungle sleeper train and an ABnB stay and then Emirates back to Birmingham (home). Then I watched your video on how to fly Hong Kong - Bangkok business class for a really exciting price, so I contacted to the airline and up graded to business class, BRILLIANT, THANK YOU PHIL YOU'RE A STAR.

Would have been good to actually say where the fuck you were going at the very start of the video!!

As per the other comments, I would of respected your view if you didnt mention Josh and just reviewed the airline. Reading some of your replies , you seem bitter. Disappointed.

They all say they have the best Mac Pie on the island. There are definitely variations. I like the ones that have some HEAT in them. And BTW -The best doubles on the island are at the stand just east of the bandstand on the main road at Oistins. The best full meals are at UNCLE GEORGE'S !!

Hamad airport is confusing - and they don’t make the lounge easily lockable particularly if it’s your first time there.

Heathrow business class for Qatar is a much better experience

The crew on Qatar business class vary - I have had some vet good service and I’ve also experienced some really disinterested crew. They need to be more consistent. But yes, you want something ask.

Hopefully when BA start updating their lounges with their Global Lounges concept, we will see a proper distinction between first and business lounges. The first lounges are more like business plus lounges. 😄

Matt's Planet has done a good lounge hopping video in T3. He said the same as you about the food in the J and F lounges, essentially it's the same food.

They have to be careful of undercooking food. The food always suffers

I'm afraid that IHG Park Lane has gone downhill post covid. New GM, Management and new staff. The great staff in the club lounge have all left. Ain't the same and believe me I've spent thousands in that hotel with work.

Great video and insight. I just looked at google flights for the route and the cheapest I could find for the next 12 months is now £693. Still good. You got a good price

Please don't do these videos 😂 the Bangkok to Hong Kong flight has gone to to an average of £1000 compared to £700 for first class return...I think loads of people are trying to book after seeing the video meaning the price went up...and it's £1000ish for all future dates

Lets hope it was better than the cattle class seating configuration in Economy and the dire food! The cabin crew appeared harrassed and exhausted....

Looks like the cheapest for this now is just a shade under £700 but it's almost worth it just to skip that huge bloody airport queue!

That's awesome buddy....it's been 18 odd years since I flew Emirates, but the 8 years i worked in the Middle East I flew them a heap.....only cattle class but they were simply the best even for economy travellers

Very useful video! Visited Macao twice before the pandemic and used the ferries from the skypier so didn’t have to enter Hong Kong immigration. The ferries haven’t been restored to a frequent enough service, so to be able to do it by bus now without entering Hong Kong makes me much more likely to go back! Thank you for posting this 👍

HKIA my favourite international airport. HK is the only country I am able to enter WITHOUT opening my passport...(UK passport)..
