I missed an emphasis on the hamstrings. You are obviously more up to date with what injuries are most common, but I see soccer players injure their hamstrings CONSTANTLY.

Elephant Walks (progressing to Jefferson curls eventually), Nordic Curls, Hamstring Curls, RDLs. That’s the ATG hamstring protocol

Would you say that the Horse Stance is just as good for the adductors? I feel like the principle is basically the same, but the adductors are actually isometrically contracting in a lengthend position, just like a RDL for the hamstring basically. Am i wrong here or is that a good way of training the adductors instead of the pancake?

@Horpetii15 күн бұрын
I use the app and see the full program of the ATG Soccer it is well thought and good specificity of the universally great ATG exercises. No matter which ATG Program / exercises you use they are all great - only difference is the actual ephasis/focus of the given program. Everyone can find their program - and can try different one or simply do an own one (only downside that we can not create our own program in the app, yet - but according to the great program coverage it might be not neccessary). For development: I would see a 4 day (+1 mobility ok) 2 sessions/week/muscle group for ATG Muscle/hypertrophy - but ATG Shred kind of does it so I use it for this purpose right now. Rest time/sets/reps are all adjustable - only the exercises don't (which is kind of fair from program point of view). But description is good work around for any change of course.
