My first vehicle was a Lime Green Skateboard, the only kid in a Blood neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio in the early 90’s riding back & forth to the corner store all day on a skateboard..Lol

Pharrell, we will ALWAYS welcome you here. We love and appreciate you very much. Trevor, you have no idea how proud we are of you as a person, and as someone who represents our country in such a powerful and profound manner. Thank you for this show ❤

if it were actually possible to determine a greatest of all time Quincy Jones is surely among the top contenders ... still I'm not so worried about who's the greatest but more aware of how much greatness exists and how much I love it all

Quincy doesn’t age, man. He already is, so he doesn’t have to, but you know what he could do to further ensure that he stays young? He could make/produce a lofi beats video that people can chill/relax to, with the beats based off of the sounds of his music genres, jazz, pop and R&B standards, African and Brazilian music, you know what I’m saying? Although not being ungrateful, Quincy himself, all he is done and the wisdom he’s dropping is already more than enough

I love Vince but I think this interview is the first time I see him being defensive & a little combative because of the way he heard the questions instead of listening to how they were asked. The good energy started to die because he kept trying to say how "everyone does this, everyone does that" or repeating why his songs "are verse hook no bridge cause nobody helped me" when nobody was even saying anything about them "not being good enough". I hope he learns how to get over fighting off *that* "exec" in his head or defending himself and can open up and talk about his art more like "I wrote it this way" or "I fcked with the beat because". It's unfortunate cause P was even gassing the one bar in his track and he turned it into "nobody appreciates Earl" when earlier he said it shouldn't matter because the influence is more meaningful than the noise. Just be okay with what it is and appreciate yourself as well for what you've done and when people connect to things you've said. I love Vince, thought this would be the best interview for him to just relax and speak more openly but he was quite defensive (and no defensive doesn't have to be loud or negative, it can just be closed off).

@41:50 I used to be on that server a little bit in 2021 and I remember when someone was really slur gross to a couple of us, i tagged a mod and they not only ban hammered on spot but spent time just validating that shit wasnt ok, asking me if im ok and shit. Gotta say that's something i really gotta put on this guy's name. Glad he priorities and advertises it and hope he upholds.

Love Trevor's mind. The fact is we only get the facts when we search for them. So much history has been rewritten for political reasons that he is exactly right. We must see each others perspectives and you can only do that by reading everything on each subject.
