I dont understand something : which frequency do you want to détermine : -the frequency from the cars sound ? or -the frequency of the numbers of cars passing ? thanks for your answer Can I contact you as Im a student in french préparatory classes and I have to work on this project Thanks !!

Nice work and this helps me with my project because now I remembered that I need tuning forks for my project. Generator is made from old speakers converted into linear generators. I wanted to get wind, sound and vibration collection from one device.

I’m new to your channel and I really wish someone ( not electing you to be the one ) but someone would attempt methods such as these/ sterling energy generators in regards to what processes could potentially power a modern house. I’ve been on this search for a year and it’s frustrating the amount of different knowledge I’ve had to familiarize myself with in order to overcome the task. Like I know someone else has thought of using something other than hydro and solar and put it on film over the years . Plz someone direct my ass 😂

Said: “ Now let me tell you why I Chose this length”..[ …. Then proceeded to completely nerd the FwkOut ] 😂 Like seriously ?!? I could think of two different ways that could’ve been simplified without utilizing all the extensive math. Not that I don’t appreciate your diligent work. Although anyone who can follow your charts and graphs better be equipped with common sense thus elevating the need for its expression. Bless your heart

This is exactly running in my head, not only sound but all energy that are from electrical(energy) that were converted to such as heat, opto, light , radiation, and many more . Then, they are complaining of lack of energy? Take note, many technical people have already work and prove for the said energy conversion. ??? The big question is Why? Why they are not utilising it? There is really something fishy going around? As what other people, many people(technical) have discussed this matter and just evaporate. Just to add other issue. China now has prove and improve the sodium battery which is quality in form and safe in all aspects as well as abundant in nature. Why it was stopped , that is the very big question again. It is questionionable that other technical people can not do/ enhanced it. Then, at the end of the day , Chinese people discover/invent/enhance it. Political will or capacity and skills to make output ,that lurks in this issues. Full Stop.

Interesting. I'm actually building a project that will use sound as a power source. Btw, I think you'll get more volts using a hydrophone (experimenting under water).

I am impressed with the dedication you put into this project but depressed at its overall electrical yeild Make one for wind generation. You clearly got more power when the wind kicked in

good stuff. Recommend "Tate Ambient Power Module" circuit, which uses germanium diodes for rectification. The voltage drop is less. But also, you want to measure power not voltage. It might be good to stick with pulses and have a coil structure to get the voltage way up high. If you can get the coils to oscillate longer with less dampened oscillation (high inductance, low resistance), and tuned also with the frequency, the coils can serve as storage for power. You probably need to use a higher frequency though. such as 2khz. Earth NMR is around 2khz, btw.

Can you reverse the system, apply a voltage at a frequency and produce any frequency you want? I think you could have an acoustic cutting tool for stone like granite. I heard Egyptian's used tuning forks to cut stone for the pyramids.

You can use a bass shaker/exciter or tactile transducer to make solid objects vibrate at specific frequencies. They work like a speaker does, so you can control the frequency from your phone or PC.

sure the power measured was .2v but that was using a singular device. so what if you increase the amount of collectors? what if instead on a stationary it were on top of a car? what if it were at a concert? or in a subway?

Of the one you picked as best, what might be the improvements. I found having to re-solder was essential. The solder on this unit deteriorates fairly quickly. The rest of the unit has worked non-stop for over 3 years, without fault.

All this work to answe how much energy was produced, but the answer is not 'this much energy'. Disappointing end! Joules could have worked. But hey, we're on the internet, the real measuring stick is 'how many bananas' is it (calculate joules per banana, divide your energy produced in one work day - then you get how much banana you produce per day with your system)

Helpful comparative video of ultra-cheap chinese Amps, so thank you. In future, please do perform similar tests, but with the speakers in enclosures. It's almost impossible to tell how good the amp really is at driving the speaker when it is not shifting any air.

Sometimes we look too far for energy harvesting source....the most significant and undeniable that can produce a useable amount of power is the DC motor (hand crank or twist) and no other can do that more better even smaller solar panel can't do better than high powered dc motor which can produce higher voltage and higher amp ...all other sources are simply too small and useless. If there is a way to crank a dc motor more conveniently without much hassle it will be the beginning of new energy that better than the rest of energy harvesting. they key here is to find a better way to crank the DC motor how conveniently
