Thanks for making this vid, I've tested the TDA7297 module and it sounds surprisingly good and loud with low distortion

You fulfilled my wish by included various types of audio amplifier board on one platform with different ICs! Keep it up your updated works with promise to include some left out amplifier board with the likes of TDA, TPA, TAS and LM ranges in future!

I am very happy this stuff is available. Young people on a budget can design a kit and power their systems.

Of the one you picked as best, what might be the improvements. I found having to re-solder was essential. The solder on this unit deteriorates fairly quickly. The rest of the unit has worked non-stop for over 3 years, without fault.

On TPA3116D2, how big is you power supply for this? It could be your power supply's current limit that causes that thumping.

You leave the viewer with the wrong impression that these are cheap bad amplifiers while in fact they are very good. TPA3116 is almost IDEAL amplifier, powerful, flat response, low noise, low distortion, compact and power efficient. You say it is unscientific review but if it was scientific you will have a hard time finding a better amplifier than TPA3116. Your problems with it are caused by you.

Hey brother. Lm386 is to work max 6v dc or 7v dc max.... And 500mha at 600mha and max 700mha. And you input power supply 12v dc... Burn kkk not supor above 7v dc 700mha ok... And tda7297 is to dual 15w stéreo ... Power supply 14v 2A max. Good is 12v or 14v dc 1.2A at 1.5Aamps. Tpa3116D2 yes very good power strong with 18v dc 4A or max 22v dc 3A ok. Very high volts burn fire all amplifiers... Good vídeo tank you. You winner my like ok. Yes i like your test board amplifiers ok perfect. Caution in power supply please.

use a cardboard box and fashion a makeshift speaker enclosure . something is better than nothing in this case - a lot better . love the magic smoke . the7297 is not a class d , it eats power , the tpa can work very well , i swear by those for my application which is different , but i find that issue curious as i never ran into that motorboating .

TPA3116d2 is the superior chip amp right now (in 2019). Microlab solo9c uses TPA3116d2 chip. the board you are using is crap.
