What a interview! Not seen it before. I already know about Eartha's child hood, it was actually worse than she could say here? Brave to say as much as she did especially considering the year of the interview. Wogan was brilliant as the host as with most things he did. Will be missed. Eartha probably would not have said so much to anyone else? Kudos to both of them.

She’s taught me so much about self worth and self love. She truly inspires women to know their true worth beyond just a relationship. Women are so much more than just a fantastical dream of being in love.

Yes of course it's a given. Anybody and everybody has right to an opinion. I Never said you couldn't have an opinion. Therfore I'm was not attempting to bully you.. wasn't that a fast big jump to play victim of bullying?? Do you always form opinions on people based upon KZfaq snippets? Versus facts Do you realize those were excerpts from archived interviews? Do you know she was born in the late 1920s early 1930s?? To put her childhood and life in proper perspective. The interviews they're discussing things from her career in 1950s 1960-70s?? Yes I do know that during 1930-1940s kids we're sent off to work farms of others called Sharecropping .... Do you know anyone in your family that had that happen? I do in my own family = fact... these kids treatment !!! I myself and my generation know what a tree switch is = fact it can draw blood She was a woman of color who didn't pull her punches when she spoke, in a time period when women weren't suppose to talk back or allowed to have their own opinions. Fact= CIA and FBI during those early years created files and actively kept surveillance on people who supported civil rights, women's rights etc... Eartha Kitt was one Since a lot of America's history of Black's and Native Americans is shameful and full of atrocities.. I never implied one got treated worse... all of It's horrendous... so don't try to insinuate I think otherwise. So basically you made a judgemental comment casting doubt on Eartha Kitts credible lifestory. Now I've responded to your post to me supporting with credible facts vs some doubting feeling.

I just hate how that man can only ask questions about how she acts with other men and about her sexuality. He calls her a tease like 10 times in a row. Why can't men see a wonderful talented woman and not ask her questions about her career?

Eartha Kitt! Most of us remember her for her brief (but dazzling) portrayal of Catwoman on the old ‘Batman’ reruns but she had been a working entertainer and successful recording artist long before that, a Civil Rights champion alongside the King family, and just a beloved figure. How anyone could be cruel to a sweet child … welcome to this heartless world. 😑 Love her story of self-redemption, her humor, and her delightful eccentricities. Hard working performer. And, let’s be real-her “Santa Baby” is THE definitive version and sold a million records for her, as did “C’est Si Bon.” She’s left us, but is remembered with a lot of love and admiration.
