The brazilians coaches were stuppid and didnt like romario, never called up him. But, some around world cup, when brazil was almost out to be classified, they had to call him. It's quite funny that Brazil had Ronaldo on the bench, but I guess he was never going to see the field unless Brazil were up by 5 goals. I was only 7 when this game took place and didn't watch it until 5 or 6 years ago. When I did see it, I couldn't believe a semifinal could be so lopsided. Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany, but that was all psychological. Here, it was a mismatch. Only some poor finishing, Zinho and Mazinho being the two worst culprits, prevented this game from ending 5-0.

Brazil dominated the game, especially in the first half and could have won earlier and on a bigger margin. Sweden managed to organize themselves better in the second half, but the sent off made life harder. Branco should have got a red card for elbowing Brolin, or at least a yellow one. Both teams played earlier in the group stage and the game ended 1-1 in a fair way. This time Brazil were the dominating side.
