Cool! I use my Artima 7 still, but mostly use the DSPIAE Illusive Shadow now since it's wireless, the bits are also cheaper, which is useful because the have a large skirt that I found difficult to measure inside, so I couldn't design 3D printed bits for it.
@MofutoraModeling3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! The DSPIAE seems quite nice. The cable is quite annoying some time.

I worked for 2.5 years as an electronics engineer, I quit at the beginning of this year. Now I spend all this time searching for myself and jumping from place to place, trying different things. You showed me that anything is possible. My dream was to create things that we come up with in our heads, telling stories to other people and showing our characters. Your video suddenly appeared in my recommendations, and I am at the same time happy for you and at the same time I am frustrated that I am wasting time when I could have started something like this a long time ago. Good luck to you, I hope you have fun and make good money doing what you love. I have subscribed and will follow your journey.

Thank you for the kind words! It's great to hear from another (ex)engineer. It's so difficult to find what really fits. I myself tried blogging (on a completely different topic from this channel) for 2years. It's still online but I shifted my focus to this hobby/channel for the past year or so. Sometimes things don't work out but there are things I did not realize until just trying things out, and it has definitely been useful in my next project. So what I want to say is, I'm sure your not wasting your time. I envy your motivation to try different things. Thank you for the encouragement! I'm sure you will find something that matches you perfectly
thank you for sharing your journey, I just started looking into blender from zero and hope that in the next year i will make as much progress in sculpting as possible

Very nice tutorial, As the others said, using displace is better than solidify, However I love the Idea you have here and it looks like it will be an easier fit and blend once printed.
@MofutoraModeling25 күн бұрын
Thank you for the comment! Ya, I have taken you and other's advice and started using displace instead. works much better. (minor issue is it works as a factor(?) rather than a exact mm dimension... don't know how to get around that)

Hi, thank you for your content, its very helpful!. I just got a Tourbox today and am still looking for the right presets for Blender. Are your presets available for download somewhere?
@MofutoraModelingАй бұрын
Thanks for watching and the comment! Unfortunately I haven't figured out a good way to share the presets, so they are not available. I did first try the one available from the TourBox site, but the mapping did not match my workflow. The one on the TourBox site will have some shortcuts preregistered, so starting from there will be helpful. I think it would be best to take some time to list out which shortcuts you use, and how frequently you use each one, so that you can map the keys to how you use the shortcuts.
