سلام عليكم يا بشمهندس انا لما بنفذ علي مشرع حقيقي واجي عند خطوه split column لل wbs id في بعض من wbs مش بيظهر لما بخفي null زي مثلا Construction او Engineering وعشان اظهرهم لازم احط نشاط تحت ال construction علي طول 5:21 حلها ايه لان كده مش هعرف اعمل wbs علي power bi

When i did the measure in power bi to calculate the Performance % and Schedule %, the output does not match the values in P6... how can i solve this?

It should match because our calculation of these PCT is based on exported values. Assuming that you're not applying any filter in primavera, May be something wrong in the measure. Share with me the measure text to review it.

Hi Brother, Assalamu Alaikum. To update the power BI report with new excel spread sheet, Do I need to do any change in the new exported excel file from Primavera? I am using activity code instead of WBS/Phase table you have done, so it is showing code error. like actv_code_work_phase_5666_id error. What should I do? This code is changing in every update.

Hi, this files for training purpose only, not a template. I'm using WBS not activity codes. Try to learn and you can do activity codes method by yourself

I don not understand the reason needed for adding a new .xer path at the end. You transform data (edit Parameters) @ 12:45 in the video and it updates the count of task from 47 to 2449. Why do you need to do this if your reading the latest .xer file? I would always want it to read the latest .xer file in a folder and not an old file. However, mine is also giving me a count that is much less than my actual .xer has in it. Is there a way to make this accurate using the latest .xer?

I'm adding new xer to make it clear that you can use any xer in this report, not the same project only. To read the latest xer in folder. In power query, before read the xer read the folder and sort by file date desc then select the first record, then read the xer. For giving you less count, it should give you accurate count. I cannot predict what's wrong.🌹🌹🌹

الاندكس بيخليني ارتب wbs بترتيب البريمافيرا.... لما تستخدم الslicers الWBS هتترتب ابجدي يعني هتلاقي مثلا construction قبل Engineering. لكن بترتيب الاندكس اقدر ارتب wbs على اساس الاندكس فالترتيب ييجي منطقي زي اللي موجود في البريمافيرا. هتوضح معاك في اعداد الريبورت🌹

For Data or the exported excel file you'll find in the description or you can use any exported excel file from p6 project cost loading. For PBI file, better to do it by yourself, to learn.🌹🌹

Hi Osama , there should be atleast one activity in the WBS then only power bi will Consider that WBS ? in my case i have main WBS under Sub WBS only Sub WBS have activities . it is not considering my main WBS . How to overcome this

Yes in this method (easy one) you should have activity under each level of WBS. But you can add Start Milestone (as example) under it. also we can solve this problem by using: - Reading WBS from XER so you can hav the full hierarchy (I'll discuss this in my videos later). - Using User Defined codes. so, we can create -as Example- 3 Codes, one for Discpline, second for Work, and third for Floors. and Export these data in the excel file and use it for the hierarch 🌹🌹🌹

In the next vidoes we'll discuss manythings. Anyway, upload the two XERs in the same way. Then create to task table. You can compare these tables by task_code field in power query, excel or power bi.🌹
