Hello. I have a 2005 Mini Cooper that needs the speaker replacement also and want to ask you if the speaker size you recommend (6.5 inch) is the same for the non- cabrio models? When I look up the size on the internet it says 5.25 inch. Thx to clarify. I am in Europe so will have to find the parts from a supplier here (any thoughts?). Hey y’all, mine is 3 years old with maybe 10 hours on a John boat. Problems starting today. Took out the spark plug and it’s wet from water in there! What part is failing to keep water from entering the cylinder!? I’m a boat noob. I ran compressed air in the cylinder and it blows out the propeller if that helps.

You could bring an extra battery just as easily as an extra can of gas. If you're fishing a quiet motor won't scare all the fish away so electric wins. But... neither seems that useful for any distance so I'd probably just use the oars.

The real down and dirty: reliability, parts availability, and who can and will service it for any bigger issues?

The drain plugs have valves so if you open them and hit the gas the boat will drain and no water will come in.

My mom had a slightly bigger one with an aluminum floor she paid 1200 bucks for and a couple years later sold it with the electric motor for 400

I don’t have one yet but here thinking out loud. Maybe if the prop was adjustable and it was higher not so deep underwater it would push better rather than twisting the boat? Also, did you have the correct pressure, or could it be inflated a little more to make it more stiff
