Nice chill video! I rode this last weekend for the first time out & back from the southern tip, just to check my endurance because the full 12.5 miles is long for me. I will definitely do the whole loop next time. What a great Trail! Your background music is what it felt like riding it...

Hey Tyler. Nice video, I live close to Phil's world, so my dog and I took a spin out there this morning, also did that stinky 2 mile loop wtfever it's called. Hey the reason Im commenting is I just think you deserve to know I'm the best there is when it comes to mountain biking. There is nobody that even comes close. Keeping in the SW Colorado theme, I'll let you know I'm twice as fast as ned overend. No trail too technical, too steep, or otherwise too gnarly. I am king of the mountain bikers. When I did ribcage this morning, I did literally the whole thing in a wheelie, just because I can. And I still passed 3 people. My legs are so powerful that I use a 60 tooth front chainring so I can haul ass uphill or down. In fact, I think I need to get a bigger one. I'm a monster. One day I might have the skills to kind of back those claims up, but until then only believe me when I said I went there this morning. No homo

I have a tear in the rain fly and brown door. I think its from the rubbing of the ladder when it closed in the tent. do you have this issue? just used it twice and already messing up the tent, haha

Thanks for watching. That's lame dude. After only a couple uses too. Mine actually has on tiny hole in the top window due to the ladder rubbing on it. But I've had it 3 & 1/2 years. I would definitely contact them about it. I heard they have good customer service.

@@SharetheShred that suck ass sorry to hear that. That's really not the answer I was looking for, I am pretty disappointed by it. Though I'm sure nowhere near how disappointed you are. Hopefully you heal well or whatever so you can finally go. It's a super fun trail system. Per my other comments on the video, I just went this morning (I live close so I get to go somewhat often). Lemme tell ya, that place puts a smile on a person's face. I've been riding for like 10 years on a full rigid xc bike but finally bit the bullet and got a modern f/s trail bike. Lemme tell ya kiddo. Today was my first ride at Phil's on it (done it plenty on a rigid). Holy crap is that trail way more fun now. I hope you find everything you're looking for and may your wildest dreams come true. Hey man, great video! I subscribed, so keep it coming please. How tough is that road to get there? Think it's doable with a small trailer (Airstream Basecamp) and a Tacoma with a 2" lift and stock everything else?
@COplateauguy3 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the basecamp but your Tacoma will be fine. As long as its not wet/muddy of course. I have a stock 2015 Xterra Pro-4x and was out there yesterday and my 4x4 handled it fine. I was scouting it out to see if i could tow my little teardrop that has 16" of clearance and timbren axle less suspension. I think itll work but your basecamp is much bigger/heavier than my teardrop so i dont want to recommend something where i am not 100% sure.
@houseofdyer3 жыл бұрын
@@COplateauguy yeah, I towed a 16x with the pro and it worked great, although I felt it’s tongue weight was a bit heavy (or my rear suspension is too soft). On the highway it was a little squirrels, but off-road it was great!

Hey dude, with the clamshell cover is it possible to install an awning like the batwing? I haven’t seen anyone with both yet.
@RAYGUNstudios3 жыл бұрын
It is I think.. I wanted to do the same thing but I was told that I would need a wider rack so there would be room to mount it on the side. With my current set up it is just too tight and the tent would have a hard time opening.
@dmay9493 жыл бұрын
@@RAYGUNstudios yeah that is my concern too. I hear other non-batwing style awnings can work. I’ve also heard it’s possible if you don’t center the tent on the rack but then it looks kind of funky.
