Hang 2 truck 30 series batterys on the frame and will make a differts . I did that to my 4620 .

I thought it had a Cummins NHCT-240 an N14 series, with 855 CID. It doesn't sound/idle like a Cummins N10. I've seen these up at my place of work back in the early 1990's, pulling up to the loading dock, single axle, black cast spoke, with yellow-orange bodies, nice trucks!! The good old days.

My Dad had me cultivate hundreds of acres every year with one on our 4010 Diesel. Loved it. Ours was a 4 row meant for new gen tractor

This was a perfect explanation of the correct operation of this tractor. I worked for the company for 15 years that is still manufacturing the fuel filter and converter/regulator for this tractor. They are wonderful designs and lp systems today will never be as good as those original Century systems.

Yes they are. Since installing these, we put two more sets in the 6030, and we have another set to install in the 4520. I was concerned about the extra stick out initially, but it hasn't posed a single issue as of yet.

Thats pretty cool to see to gassers together. Our 4030s serial number is 5802 ours is a diesel with a soundguard cab. My grandma bought it new from our local dealer.

Grandpa had one of these with the picker attachment. We used it every year. Up until he retired and sold it. Think it was late 90s. Went to Watseka illinois.

Thanks for showing that JD LP operation. I grew up on Dads farm driving a '57 Ford 700 (Tricycle Hi Crop) The oil stayed clean so long that the oil filter would start to rust. Good memories! Glad you keep that sweet LP tractor alive.

A 4520 wouldn’t even pull it with 24 inch disks I wouldn’t thing we have one with 4 26 inch disks and our 65 hp John Deere 5400 will barely pull it

I have been around LP 4010s and 4020s for almost 60 years and the first thing that you need to learn about LP tractors are is DO NOT open the fuel valves all the way up as breaks the rubber seal that keeps fuel from leaking, if they they are only opened a couple of turns that is enough because changing the seals is not that hard it takes time and the tractor has to be out of fuel and if your propane supplier can get the seals a lot cheaper than replacing the valves because J D will want to sell the valve assembly and they are not cheap. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone that was interested.

Nice video. Even the Deere dealer in my area can’t stop them original couplers from leaking I had a neighbor return a 4840 three time before the dealer got it fixed thanks for the informative video.

We've got a 4020 Power Shift, and a 3020 Utility Power Shift. Absolutely love them. I've been on the hunt for a '72 4620 Power Shift for years. Then we'd have a first-year Synchro, and an "updated" last year Power Shift of the first iteration of Deere's "Turbo-Built" tractors.

Nothing beats the quality of the J D ether. One poof from the 80% can into the direct injector below steering wheel, and my 4320 fires right up. I use the block heater when possible. Always have the engine spinning first.

I spoke to the manufacturer. He said it is not a problem but you can put a dab of silicone in the openings the levers come out of if you desire.

I’ve ironically never seen a 4030 gas IRL but I seen a 4230 gas at a local show, sitting next to it was a 4230 diesel, the gas was a regular optioned tractor with open station and a wide front but diesel was a odd as it was a narrow front option with no 3 point
