*Really* nice drone work (although to be fair, Krk is so beautiful, it's hard to go wrong! LOL) . Certainly seems like May is a great time to visit - a distinct shortage of the hordes!

Not far from Biograd there is a beach Lumbrak where Winnetou movie was filmed. It is a small beach between Biograd and Crvena Luka. It is about 20 minutes to walk from beach Kumenat.
@ArwinTours3 күн бұрын
I will have to check that out on my next visit :)

Arwin! You found the Garden of Eden! It was in Albania, all this time! LOL. But, hmmmm ... human nature ... the sign clearly says "no swimming" and dude jumps in anyway. Sigh.
@ArwinTours4 күн бұрын
Yeah I read that people were doing it despite the sign there. There is normally a restaurant/cafe there that has chairs you can sit on the river but it was closed for renovation when I went. That would have been more than enough for me, the water is way too cold for a dive 😅

nice video! thank you - is this by bike or bicycle? I'm going to Perast at the end of May and wanted to cycle around the bay ( for instance going from Perast to Kotor by bike) but the peope on tripadvisor are all telling me it's dangerous/not the best ?!! looks fine to me... what;s your view?
@ArwinTours6 күн бұрын
I've done dobrota to stoliv basically and that's easy. But towards perast can eb a bit dangerous if you don't have experience. It is possible but the road is narrow and you are sharing with all types of vehicles. I have seen people walk to perast along that road so it depends on how comfortable you are.
@summer2846 күн бұрын
@@ArwinTours thanks so much- I am quite a confident cyclist ( I cycle in London)- at the same time i dont want to take extra unecessary risk as I'll be travelling by myself - are the drivers quite careless ( I read that a few times, even put me off renting a car, so im going to miss out on Durmitor etc..) - do you think i can ride easily from Perast to Kotor , or am i better off walking ( which i do loads off too)- thanks so much for responding by the way :)
@ArwinTours6 күн бұрын
@summer284 I think you will definitely be fine. I go every year and thought the drivers were fine, nothing crazy. I'll be going soon and this time I'll make my way to perast by bike. I'll let you know and will definitely be posting a video of it :)

That coastal road is great - not only because of the wonderful scenery, but also the lack of road traffic. You were able to keep it between 35-50 kph most of the time, which is perfect for sightseeing. - especially the sheep and cows in the road! LOL.

@@ArwinTours Thank you for this advice. I recently watched a few videos about overourism. This interested me because I experience this problem in my own area. That's why I'm particularly interested in less popular places where you can see something interesting, but also spend time in peace, not among crowds and constant noise. After watching your video, it seems to me that the conditions on this coast are perfect.
@gabygaedecke241117 күн бұрын
I almost dread you posting these beautiful videos, because soon the tranquility and peace will be shattered by all the western Europeans invading. I see that some of their infrastructure (eg. boat tours, recycling bins, fire hydrants, beachside showers etc.) is established, while the streets are not all paved ... every tourist rubel, euro or lek will help with that.
