pls i need more primal videos, i used it against a black belt that usually give me a hard time(4yearpurple). i literally wrecked him, he was breathing so hard while i was barely tired. i spent the first 3-4 min inside his closed guard, half guard and mostly open guard. he tired himself out trying to break my incredible posture. I also kept leaning on his stomach and yanking on his head to restrict breathing. i saw a easy pass and i took it and i got him to side control the last min he got to his side and was holding on to my hands for dear life and breathing real hard. i probably shouldnt have been chest to shoulder and then the round ended. i have been using it on people and having good success. keeping my head higher, keepin my head away from them and away from the floor. shit works at least for the moment. please make more videos sparring and breaking down your techniques. thank you so much for this game changing perspective.

I think it is effective if you are already proficient in the 'B side' grappling as you call it. Many traditional martial arts have passed down the same concepts as the primal kombat system, but down the generations the familiarity with the 'B side' techniques faded. That's why during the first UFC competitions, the ones staying upright or on top were too unfamiliar with the "B side", and had no defense against it. Again, I think your insight is very valuable, but only if you are sufficiently familiar with the B side grappling.

I've been playing with this concept for a while now. My grappling style is more akin to Judo and Greco so I fell into this line of thinking naturally

All I see is dick moves. I like, but I don’t think you can get away with those moves with somebody that is experience. This looks like that because of opponents ur going against are not at your level my respect for you and your style. But I would like to see you going with some of the best at ADCC. Please show video.

The under hook is better because it gives inside position which makes it easier throw your opponent and it gives you a lot of leverage and you can do a bunch of takedowns. While the over hook means your opponent has the under hook so they have the advantage in that situation

Highly enjoyable discussion of principles. Please please please go find some good TaijiQuan people and play Push Hands with them too... The Principle of Verticality is overtly practiced and known very deeply in the (very few) schools of Tai Chi that still practice contact and spar with each other

Love this. Ive gone through quite a few neck injuries over the years and I've come to a similar conclusion. The old masters weren't dumb and there was a reason that simplicity was key. Stay higher than your opponents, and developing a great understanding and practice of kuzushi can take you a loooong way

100% out of your mind when it comes to the god talk, but stop all that shit and you're gold. Belief in god is one thing, but using god to explain what you don't understand is another thing that I don't think any rational person would do.

I'll take it one step further - "higher" just means in relation to your opponent's head, not even the ground. This is what I think about when I'm attacking from the bottom.

It seemed to me too that you were just kind of pressure passing and using pressure work, trying to keep good posture, but then you know the way they were using their guards and stuff. I’m trying to step over and do stuff I mean, I think if you did what you were doing and then plus you did, removing their grips and stuff I think it would’ve been way better. You would’ve had much more I mean doing the full splits that’s something I don’t do so.
