How is wiring

Very interesting. Can I throw a problem past you please. I am just completing a full control4 system on a new build home. I have under floor heating and I chose heat miser for the thermostats and hub as it integrates seamlessly with C4. However my air source heat pump (this is an issue with virtually all quality heat humps btw) has proprietary software, in my case something called Easytron for a Stiebel-eltron pump. I can keep heat miser and therefore control room heat demand through C4. However I have since learnt that unless the heat pump has access to the demand ie thermostats, pumps, manifold actuators, it is not possible to optimise the performance of the heat pump (take out buffer tank, circulate in the system during periods of low demand etc.). Easytron integrates seamlessly with the KNX IP Router. Do you think a solution might be to switch to the Easytron controls in full (ie include their room stats as well as the pump controls), install a KNX IP router and then connect this router to Control4?

Just a scenario, if you happen to add more devices (actuators). Then, its function will be monitored by the group-address, but how will the system identify whether it is the actuator in the kitchen or in the sitting room. I have little knowledge about one BMS system, and out there you need to add the MAC-address of the actuator, so that corresponding relays and its subsequent lights respond to one particular actuator or relay. How doe the addressing of the devices work in KNX

Hello, thanks for tutorial, has the rigth pace :) I have an instalation where server was not configurate, all buttons and modules are configurate, I can see then on ETS and using diagnostic tool I'm able to blink all devices. The question is, is possible to upload existing program on devices? Thanks in advance
