In the past the commercials were definitely top-tier. Japan still has its charm with these more modern commercials.

Japanese commercials - funny, weired and cool? Yes, and I have to watch them. But they are not politically correct. I prefer American commercials. They are boring, but always politically correct. So I don't have to watch them. lmao

You mean there are no blacks in the adverts? They don't live in Japan, and they never did

Love these videos and I'm on the Patreon too! I have a question that I'd really appreciate if you could answer. What's the proportion of ads on TV like these ones vs local ads or smaller companies? I guess the tv channels would also be advertising their own shows. Are most of the ads like these or only, say, a quarter? Thanks!
@JapanesecommercialsHD5 күн бұрын
In general, small companies operate more on the Internet and make fewer commercials compared to a larger company that can pay for television ads. The commercials that appear on TV are very varied, it depends a lot on the channel where you want to advertise a brand, they also have advertisements for their own shows. You can also see the commercials that appear here on the streets or train stations. Thank you for your support and that you like the channel.

6:52 Freddie Mercury died in 1991. This ad doesn't look that old. Is it CGI or is it really that old?
@JapanesecommercialsHD11 күн бұрын
They used the video and the song I Was Born To Love You to make the commercial, what is not known is if Freddie sings this version or is an imitator.
@DiRECs11 күн бұрын
@@JapanesecommercialsHD Upon further investigation (I googled it), the ad is from 2011. The voice is from Gary Mullen, a well-known and very good Freddie Mercury imitator. Putting Gary Mullen's mouth movements on to Freddie Mercury's face from the music video (or just doing it by CGI) should have been fairly easy in 2011. Case solved.

Having lived in Japan for 4 years.. I can confirm that this is indeed the kind of content Japan provides for entertainment and promotion. I love the Japanese ads because of how amazingly weird they are. They’re weird but persuading. 😅❤

One thing I noticed about these commercials is that they always connect words with the product inorder to make it more catchy so that it becomes easy to remember :)
