He was the British puppet ...he was the most selfish person I even had red about in history ......when British release that people like surendernath Banerjee are trying to form national level political party they were afraid that India PPL will get United and it won't be easy to rule then the them self form national level party called indian national congress and put there indian puppet as a incharge of it ......firajshah maheta was one of them ..........he kicked lot of PPL out of Congress bcoz they were against British ........till his death congress was nothing but toys for British which they can play whenever they want .......real freedom of struggle started after he died. For good

China prohibited opium in 1729 because of millions addicted in China so those people(East india company,,parsis,Jarden,..) were first and biggest narcotic smugglers in human history. Western governments prohibited opium trade 200 years later than China.Some earned a lot of money and power in 200 years by selling drug and addicting people.Until 1925 it was even advertise about opium and even heroine in the western counteries.

We have a taluka in South Goa named "Salcete" which is corruption of "saasashti" in Konkani (close to sahasasht-i) because it's a collection of 66 Villages. Interestingly even Goa was ruled by Portuguese for 450 years!

"Siege of Mumbai" (1689)- Mughals defeated the British allied with Marathas "Battle of Delhi" (1803)- Mughals pleaded for the British help against Marathas That's how British ruled India for next 150 years.

In the Deccan Wars, Portuguese aided Mughals against Marathas but English sold European weapons to Marathas against Mughals. Capture of Maratha king in 1689 further led to Siege of English colony in Mumbai in 1689-1690. English pleaded for mercy and paid a huge fines. Mughals could not kick English just because they sold weapons to Marathas for a huge money. Afterall, it was Mughals who had welcomed English in India for trade money. In 1803, Mughals pleaded for the English help to free Delhi from Marathas during the Second Anglo-Maratha War(1803-1805). Note- There are no permanent friends and enemies in politics.

Awesome and funny. Reading Theft of India and i was searching for more info like this. The Britishers built Mumbai..and Banagalore and Kolkutta and Chennai. there wasnt much going on there exept few villages. So the name Bombay has more history than Mumbai... politicains just love to change names for vote points and make up some religious historical bs. Way back Bhadur Shah gave the islands to the portuegues in 1534 ’s exchange for help against the Mughals. Many indian kings willingly gifted away land.
