How life turns! This wonderful woman suffered with her husband's decisions and remained faithfuly by his side to the end. This meant to her the loss of her daughter. She longed to have the chance to find her again and love her once more, and life granted it to her through her granddaughter. On the other hand, how wonderful - and hard - to have the chance to show love where only hate has found its way! Beautiful movie.

I’m not watching this film. I already know it’s probably trash and told from a white perspective. I immediately exited out of the film after her disgusting reaction to meeting her grandchild. All I know is that that kid should def go with her grandfather.

I hope anyone who is black or white with racism in their hearts will end up with a mixed grandchild who they can’t disown and I hope they end up loving the grandchild.

even though this was a movie, it makes you realize what little children go through who do lose both parents, just heart breaking. wasn't too impressed when he stuck his face in the birthday cake, no one wants it now. 🤢
