Just some random chatting for a bit, I'm Latina/Mexican and I have a lot of trouble with being connected go my culture and ethnicity, my family is Hispanic but my mom didn't have a quince so it's never something that was really mentioned but I really want to be more in touch with my culture and would pibe to have one but I don't know how to bring up the topic to my parents, I obviously know that one of these parties is incredibly expensive and I turn 15 in 8 months so for no preparation at all- I feel like it's a bit short notice but I know I would rather have this than a sweet sixteen because I really want the chance to get more in touch with my culture and Hispanic family but I'm not sure how to bring up the topic with my parents
