How are these holding up? Thinking about picking them up
@jarvo77232 жыл бұрын
I don't wear them too often anymore but they're still holding up. Ethier my foot grew or I got tired of tight shoes, but they feel just a bit too tight when i put them on

Great video - looks like a great tool that got you to a prototype quickly! Did you have to take out your credit card to pay for any of these services while prototyping ORB? Where can I send money to invest?!
@jarvo77234 жыл бұрын
My google account already had a billing account/credit card associated with it. I cant remember if I originally set that up for android pay, google cloud or as a part of project fi. Send a postcard with a $20 bill and will get you our finest investment brochure delivered to you asap

Rob, great content here. Have been thinking of using firebase for an upcoming project. Are there any notable limitations of firebase and/or reasons you would NOT choose it for a project? Thanks!
@jarvo77234 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure of the data ownership with the free tier of firebase. It might be similar to how gmail is set up (I think when using free gmail google gets access to email contents, but when using one of the paid tiers google does not own or access your email data. I might be off on specifics on that). I haven't investigated their serverless cloud functions but there might be some limitations with what you can perform there. There's always a possibility that google could sunset firebase and you'd be left scrambling to refactor. But the advantages that firebase offers makes it an excellent resource for prototyping your app. I think it's good to have a plan for refactoring in mind in case you're forced to or choose to later down the line as your app scales up.

How have these held up? And how does the rubber compare to 5.10?
@jarvo77235 жыл бұрын
So these didn't stretch as much as I hoped and they would still hurt my toes after wearing them all day. I ended up getting a used pair of 5.10 moccs in size 12.5 and they almost feel too big, but are fine for the easy all day trad I'll do. I think the rubber is good, I've smeared with no problems and haven't noticed any issues. Looking at them now they seem pretty similar, but the toecap rubber on the UPMocc is peeling up from the fabric and I've done ~30 pitches in them. I'm not sure how much crossover there is between UP and pre adidas 5.10 employees, but check out the catalogs of both and you'll see shoe siblings I'll wear the UPmoccs out sport climbing and theyre fine for me, but I dont climb harder than 5.10. I have a beat up pair of anasazi vcs i wear in the gym

@evanankerstein58575 жыл бұрын
Sounds great. I enjoy the style and harmony. Nice technique and hand posture. The sections of a piece (or whole pieces rather) that one dislikes the most, after lots of time and practice they usually become the most enjoyable to play. After deep, close, analysis of all of the variables and eternal dynamics within a measure we must surrender to the sense of oneness and love and allow it to flow through.

Did you say you have a street shoe size of 12, and did 11.5 for this shoe?
@jarvo77235 жыл бұрын
street shoe size is a 12 and i got the upmoccs in a 12. the upmoccs feel like a half size smaller than the 5.10 moccasyms and UP does not stretch as much as the 5.10
@philipppuchner11155 жыл бұрын
@@jarvo7723 You said you wear a 5.10 Anasazi VCS in 12 and you took the UpMoccs in 12.5 just to be more all day comfortable. So for me it sounds like Anasazi VCS size = UpMocc size. For me this is left UK 9 and right UK 10, since my feet are different in size (44.5 or UK 9.5+ left foot and 45.5 or between UK 10.5 and 11 right foot).
