Hey quick question, I bought the same setup same car 2015 S3, I read that some people have clicking noises while braking due to the slotted and drilled rotors hitting the pads. Did you notice this? I am installing mine this weekend.

Everyone's got their own opinion. I personally like the sound of a 2v way more than the 5.0's. And with a built bottom end I'm capable of making 1000whp if I wanted to with the right supporting mods. And my title isn't rebuilt haha

@chuckbaye478 6 күн бұрын
You said you wish the sound was better. On my 09 I have a 200 cell cat with AWE performance exhaust I removed the resonator and mine sounds like a V8 maybe it's the fact you have a sideways engine versus the longitude engine. Cause mine sounds awesome. I have alot of ppl that think I have a V8 cause I took off all my badging on the back so nobody knows what it its

Upgraded fuel pump, 83.5mm JE racing pistons, CTS big boss 600 turbo, Ward Performance tune and I'm switching to a ZF 8HP transmission putting out 28lbs of boost. Rear fog lights are pretty common, if not standard even in cheaper economic cars. They help a lot to be visible with the spray/mist clouds on a busy highway when it rains. Always remember - lights aren't always about you seeing, but being able to be seen by others (which is why people who don't turn on their lights at dusk triggers the hell out of me).

It seems that a supercharger would be easier to install and it seems it would cost about the same for the essentials. JMO. One could spend a lot of bucks upgrading the SN95 Mustangs but it's nice to know we have options other than buying a new car.
@RatchetWrenches
@RatchetWrenches 17 күн бұрын
Supercharger would be much easier for sure! And depends what supercharger brand you use but for example a top mount roots style blower like whipple is going to be more expensive than a turbo set up. Either way yeah there's plenty of options for boost!

So what most Oil Change Monkeys do, even at Ford, is to only remove the front two bolts on belly pan. Then they pry down pan bending it at back two bolts locations. This is what destroys those $200 pans. The back mounting area on belly pan is weak from factory. I strengthened this area with fiberglass cloth and resin. If you take it to a shop watch the Monkeys work and make sure they remove belly pan.

Boosted mod motors can put in work ecsp for the money spent. Most newer coyote cars plus mods cost way more than one of these properly built with forced induction and everything needed to make big reliable power. What I think is funny is how many ppl think ol 4.6 can't do more than 400 wheel like no matter what. Ppl don't even understand what a built short block is anymor
@RidinDirtyRollinBurnouts
@RidinDirtyRollinBurnouts 12 күн бұрын
@midnight347 short blocks are getting harder and harder to find for these cars. Lots of them are on backorder, likely due to a shortage of suitable cores. If mine ever leaves the chat, I'll have to go coyote route :(
