The problem with all Neodium magnets is that they break when the fall or connect together to fast. The sollution would have been that Rode made a plastic seal around them, and for that amount of money, they should have. There are many 3D prints to give you that seal around the magnet, or... A complete 3D printed solution at all.

This is a great solar panel for this camera a lot of people complain and say it don't work but it's very important to have it positioned correctly you can have it in one position think it's getting sun and it doesn't charge change the position and you will get 15% charge in 1 hour... It's all about placing it at the proper angle.

I bought the PGYTECH CapLock neck mount and I must say it is an absolute rubbish! Put a camera on it and walk around in a quiet street. Or walk around in a store where no music is playing and quiet. Don't pace around at 1 mph like a 90 year old. Walk like you going somewhere. There's too much gap between the removable camera holder and the base hence it wiggles. Therefore at every step you make the microphone picks up the noise as the two plastic pieces bump together. Very annoying to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle or you're in the city or visit places where there's noise around you, chances are you won't hear it. I think PGYTECH did a bad job with this design!

When draining the water do you have an issue with the rubber seal staying in the hole causing water not to drain , I have to use the end on a chopstick to push it out from the inside.

Nice review! I'm just wondering... I was going to get the Fanttik X8 mostly for my mountain bikes, and just noticed the X9. Is this in any way better, or is it almost the same? I know it's the exact same price as the X8 (here in Canada), is a little lighter and probably a bit smaller with a shorter cord. But, if it is in any way better in any other way (than the X8), then I'll get the X9. Thanks!
