How are you doing, four years after your hysterectomy? Have you experienced any body changes, weight gain?

It was challenging and unbearable because of how critical my health situation was. but I am grateful and happy to have ordered Dr Aluda herbal supplements on KZfaq which I used and it shrunk my multiple fibroids completely ✨✨

I also have AS and am doing my second loading dose of Cimzia tonight. I did my thigh last time, and want to do my stomach tonight but was feeling a bit nervous and wanted to see someone else do it first. Thanks for boosting my confidence and reminding me I'm not alone in this!

In case anyone is watching this and wanting more input. So , just got back from my check-up post surgery. All went well during surgery (had everything removed) and I am healing on-time. One note, in my case they decided to do a pelvic exam this time (I thought they'd wait until week 6) and they ended up using a bit of silver nitrate to seal one small area near the cuff. I am sharing so you can be prepared! It was painful. So, if. you THINK you will need an internal exam and any amt of silver nitrate I highly suggest taking tylenol/advil or even like 1/2 a pain med to get you through it. It wasn't horrible but it also wasnt' FUN. If you have a lower pain tolerance I suggest this even more...JUST one experience...that I haven't seen discussed too much on YT..

Im going on 5 weeks post op on Feb 8th. I just started moving around a little by little at 3 1/2 weeks. But, exhausting is right so I can relate. My doctor said, that I will feel exhausted from time to time cause my body had alot of trauma to it. But, for those that read this just listen to your body.

I am 3 weeks and 3 days post op laparoscopic hysterectomy and I feel wonderful! The pain really stopped after day 2. I stopped pain meds day 3. No bleeding at all since the surgery. I do experience belly and back soreness. My sleep has not been the best due to avoiding stomach sleeping. I’m walking up to three miles a day which has been refreshing to have something meaningful to do every day. I’m grateful for time away from work and just doing things at my own pace. It’s been a really positive experience so far.

@@Michelle-pn9xtbecause you’re not supposed to. Most doctors will tell you that you can go back after two weeks, some four or six depending on what kind of job you have. If you have a desk job, 2 weeks is most likely. If you have a very physical job then it’ll likely be 4-6 weeks. It’s because your body was put through a traumatic thing. It needs the time to heal.

Hi! I’ve just had my first loading dose of Cimzia today & no pain. Thank you so much for your videos showing the use of the pre-filled pen. I felt certain I’d be okay but just watching you inject put me at ease. The videos you’ve posted are a few years old….any chance of an update? It would be great to know you’re okay & have your pain under control.

I've been on cimzia for a year now for my RA and I've never been able to inject in my stomach freaks me out too much and my cimzia Injection always seems to ache really bad when I inject. I take cimzia every 2 weeks, but I also inject methotrexate once a week which I do in my stomach. Compared to the cimzia the methotrexate injection is like getting a nettle sting. I used to be so afraid of injections and needles and now I don't even bat an eye at them. Just another day another Injection and living with RA. Thanks for the video it's nice to see other people sharing their stories makes me feel less alone with dealing with RA ❤

I am almost 3 weeks post op, I'm feeling great. I stopped taking the Tylenol & Ibp that they give you, I never even received the oxy. I don't have real pain unless sneezing now. I've been walking around and riding in the car, sweeping and mopping (probably shouldn't). I was really nervous about the recovery stage just from looking at other stories, however my story is totally the opposite. Good luck and stay strong to those who are going to have the surgery.

@rachelcoleman4693 Hi, I am feeling great still, more energy, no pains anywhere. I've gained healthy weight but that was because I was trying to gain more muscle (I work out 4/5 times a week). I think the only thing that has been a tad bit off lately is bowel movement it's either every 2 to 4 days. I'm not sure if that's anything to be worried about.

Thanks for sharing your story. I’m in the process of a hysterectomy and colonectomy and I’m so worried about how long I’ll be out of work as I’m a nanny and what things I will and won’t be able to do when I get back. Wondering if I need a therapist beforehand cuz I’m more worried about asking for help after surgery and not being able to work rather than being in pain lol

I was diagnosed at 26 years old with AS. I fought so hard to try to stay off a biologic drug. I do live in America. I tried shots, acupuncture, yoga and water physical therapy. But when I hit 35 it seems like everything just got bad. I had to go on a biologic and I first went on Humeria. It worked for about two years. Them I went on Remicaid. It worked for a long time. I am now 45 and I have built antibodies on Remicaid and they are trying Cimzia. It is a struggle. I feel weak and tired all the time. The day after the injections my blood pressure will tank super low. It has been a struggle for me.
