Hi! I’m Jes, a mama of toddlers, a loss mama, an Endo Warrior, and someone who believes human connection can heal us !
I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy on December 20th 2019.
I’m starting my KZfaq channel with no experience, and learning along the way! I can’t promise all my content will be endo/ hysterectomy related , but I can promise I will always be authentic, and have real conversations about the stuff that’s hard to talk about , including loss, grief, parenthood and being a human !

Thanks, this is exactly what I am struggling with at the start of week 5. I'm really frustrated that I can't do more. It helps to know I'm not alone in this.

Thank you for sharing. I’m currently a bit over 3 weeks post op. It’s nice to know my symptoms and feelings are in line with someone else’s. I, too, suspected adenomyosis and I was right. I also had endometriosis and fibroids.

I am 4 weeks post hysterectomy. Even I had retroverted uterus and adenomyosis. I have most of the symptoms like yours.

In case anyone is watching this and wanting more input. So , just got back from my check-up post surgery. All went well during surgery (had everything removed) and I am healing on-time. One note, in my case they decided to do a pelvic exam this time (I thought they'd wait until week 6) and they ended up using a bit of silver nitrate to seal one small area near the cuff. I am sharing so you can be prepared! It was painful. So, if. you THINK you will need an internal exam and any amt of silver nitrate I highly suggest taking tylenol/advil or even like 1/2 a pain med to get you through it. It wasn't horrible but it also wasnt' FUN. If you have a lower pain tolerance I suggest this even more...JUST one experience...that I haven't seen discussed too much on YT..

I’m coming up to a year since surgery ( December 20.2019 was my date !)I’m thinking I will do an update in the next month or so ! Anything specific you would like to know or that might be helpful to know ! It’s definitely a hard time leading up and recovery ; but you can do this and my hopes are it will allow you to have a better quality of life ( even tho it’s a difficult decision to make !!)

How long did it take you to heal? I had my surgery on November 27 and I still have spotting and pain

I completely understand with the sex. Do you know if anal sex would be okay? I’m not sure and feel weird asking my doctor. I’m having a hysterectomy on June 29th and completely scared as hell lol. You look great! And thank you for sharing your experience

I believe anal sex it ok closer to end of recovery! We did any things were find ! My dr told me oral and clit stimulation we’re fine, I think more so not in the vagina so the stitches don’t re open ! Also long as it feels good and not major bleeding or pain you should be ok!! Thank hope this helps !!!❤️ you will do great ! Please keep me updated!! And feel free to ask any other questions !

I’m just going through my comments and wanted to see how you are doing after surgery ! I wanted to say I know it’s so hard , especially as us women to ask a dr about our sexuality . I felt sooo weird to ask my dr about oral sex, but any decent professional dr ( especially an obgyn) will be able to give you a yes or no answer and not make you feel weird !
