I love the little Matecam 808 "keychain" cameras. When I bought them, they were under $30 each and weigh under 18 grams. They're low profile, and for cheap cameras, take reasonably decent video. Many pilots use the GoPro cameras, but as great as the UMX Otter is, I don't think it would do well with a GoPro attached to it. 🤣

Yeah, I have to admit it still gets to me, too. The camera is one of the "keychain" cameras, that's about the size of an automobile remote fob. I have two of them, and when I bought them, they were around $25 each. Lightweight, low profile, and inexpensive so that I'm not worried about having a significant investment possibly falling off the plane and getting lost.

What I ended up doing was getting the arrow, and then adjusting the size of the 3D printed parts to fit the diameter of the arrow. As I recall, for the arrow I used, it was something like 5% larger than the original file. For the wing position, I waited to glue the wing mounts to the arrow until I had the motor and tail assemblies mounted, and then shifted the wing position for the best CG.

Yep. I think I need to convert them over to Spektrum receivers, as the last few times I used my Tactic radio, I had issues that seemed like interference or momentary signal drop-out. I haven't flown anything on the Tactic system in a while now. The Versawing went up for the Tinsel Flights this past Christmas.

The plans are available through the Flite Test Community Association at FTCA dot flitetest dot com. There is a link for FTCA members (free to join) to "purchase" the plans, which includes the download of the STL files for the 3D printed parts, at the price of 0.00.

It's always a great feeling when a plane I built actually flies nice! Granted, that's probably more a testament to the design quality from the Flite Test crew, than it is to my building skills.
