@@DarkSage861 Bit of a rant I guess but..essentially he was a very respected and popular player in GG and it carried over into BB. Game Chariot also uploaded a lot, both their weekly tournaments and also their casual matches. He was store manager so he was there when weekly events were happening (he was the one recording and uploading). They uploaded frequently and in large quantities. So there's a ton of footage compared to other arcades (of which there were many) who only uploaded tournament matches. Funny enough he doesn't have much in the way of National results (top 8 at arc revo 2015) often failing to qualify but national qualifying was "cutthroat" in the first place. Tsujikawa and Chou won SBO in CS1 and you'd be pressed to find much footage of either in that version. TL;dr High volume of matches + strong player + playing the protagonist gave that impression to a lot of people back then (myself included) until I learned not only was Goi (the game chariot location he played at) one of at least 3 Game Chariot locations but one of maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany game centers in Japan that just didn't start showing off their players until later games (Akihabara Hey,Athena Nipponbashi, Urban Square Playspot Big One etc).

It wasn't Fumo, it was Souji (I was there!) and I believe he didn't lose at all until the final night of the tournament to Dora's stylish Tager in casuals (lol).

At first I was like huh? Then I understood. Shadow definitely plays Ragna.

I also liked pre-CP Jin solely for his more universal special move scheme across all 4 buttons for a single motion vs the "1 button for every move" rule GG and BB always had.

His Sekkajin combo routes got massively improved (I don't know exactly what changed between versions but he can do micro dash 5C>2C into air combo), A ice car also wall bounces. He got a lot of nerfs to some of his more braindead offense though, which hurt him overall. 6C>dash cancel no longer loops into 5C>6C anymore, you have to do 6C>2D in mid screen. Arrows super also has a lot more end lag, you can't do arrow>5C>6C>arrow anymore, though I think you can still link arrow>arrow. Some other misc changes I can think of is juggling into 6A lets you do an OTG pickup and 6B I think is now special cancelable. Not as good as he was in CS2 but this is my favorite version of Jin to play, the new combo routes from Sekkajin and A ice car buffs are really fun.

6C dash cancel is still a thing, it's the float/spin state that's different. Near the corner you can kind of do the same routes with adjustments. For example - DP loop in CS2 was just B Fubuki>6C>Rehyou but now you have to do a dashing 6C or delay B fubuki or a number of other adjustments that nudged towards being creative. Some gatling changes, I believe he lost jump cancelable 2B on block. Getsumei nerfed, min damage is pretty pathetic and recovery went up. Counter hit float is different too so the Tetsuwo cross under doesn't work anymore afaik. The big ones are A Musou wall bounce and 6A routes. I feel like this version is a perfect amalgam of CS1/2 Jin with some fun changes and it's ultimately my favorite version of Jin (in all of BB).
