As one of the members of the party who surprised you, I must say just how modest you truly are. I like that you titled this episode "Junk Journal Tribe" but, you didn't really own it as it was assigned by the others. You also single handedly inspired and lit a fire that spread like wildfire amongst these ladies who presented you with the title as the leader of the "Tribe". I love that you have had the desire to begin your KZfaq Channel to continue to inspire others to the tune of 1.2K subscribers and still growing. CONGRATULATIONS and continued success going forward in your endeavors and in your move. I'm seriously excited for your new crafting studio and cannot wait for you to get to making your video contributions on a more regular basis, again. Much love! <3

Hi Jennifer. Question. If I cut into the spine of the book while trying to take the pages out, is the book trash at that point? (it's a pretty big gash. my first attempt, I guess)
@junkjournalsbyjenАй бұрын
At this point I would switch to the method of using tape to bind the book and cereal box or the like to reinforce the spine. No need to trash it😊 Does this help? Let me know if you have any questions.

I love the idea of the scrap papers book. I’m going to definitely start one after I watch your video. Question for you. Do you put anything over the gesso to smooth it out? I find it a little cumbersome to write on gesso as it is gritty.
@junkjournalsbyjen2 ай бұрын
I haven’t put anything on top of the gesso, but I have played around with different writing instruments: brush tip markers, sharpies, graphite pencil, etc. and explored using the grittiness of the gesso. Hope that helps 😁
