Kenny Clark has gotten qorse each year per PFF since 2018 and had a 68 pff score in the regular season last year just slightly above average. Kenny is being paid as the best DT in the NFL and is only slightly above average per pff. He did have a great playoff run though. He's being paid 27 million next year as the top paid DT in the NFL and the second highest paid is 22 mil yet he's slightly above average. This is a terrible contract and he'll be 30 years old during next season if they resign him. NO THANKS

These players are great. If any issues in the locker room it probably stems from Berry defensive bs.

Thanks for breaking all this down. I wonder how the cap will look when the Packers sign Love. I know they can stucture it many different ways but it looks like our cap is healthier than it was a couple of years ago. Am i right with that analysis?

Out of curiosity, how is that offensive lineman working out that Belicheck took in the first round when everyone had him ranked as a 3rd or 4th rounder? I remember that pick. I think it was maybe 2 years ago. Just wanted your analysis since you know everything Patriots

Have Jordan Love sign 2 contracts... one for if he gets 13 wins in 2024, and one for if he gets less than 13 wins in 2024. The one for 13 wins will give him a $60 mil per yr/6 yr contract. And the smaller contract will still give him $45 mil. per yr/5 yrs. How does that sound?
@wildwatashi20 сағат бұрын
If Jordan Love gets 13 wins next year he'll get a contract for around $50 million a year whether that's with the Packers or not.
@KamikazeJustice19 сағат бұрын
@@wildwatashi If he gets 13 wins in 2024, why would he want to go to another team for $50 mil, when he can get $60 mil. with the Packers? If he can get 13 wins in 2024, he'll be worth $60 mil. over 6 yrs. By the time Love's contract is up, other QBs will be making $70 mil. a season.

Brian Gutekunst said that he expects a deal done by the start of training camp in July. Jordan Love himself expressed a similar feeling. Last week, Brian Gutekunst had mentioned how positive it is for everybody involved to get the extension done. Last offseason, it was time for the team to exercise Jordan Love’s 5th-year option or not. So in order not to guarantee Jordan Love a $20 million deal in 2024, the parties found a 1-year, bridge contract that paid Jordan Love more money in 2023, but gave the Packers more flexibility. So now, Jordan Love is slated to make $11 million and count $12.575 million against the salary cap. Kenny Clark is slated to make $17 million this year. But, as the Packers have restructured his deal several times over the last few years, he will count $27.49 million against the cap in 2024, also leaving $13.747 million of dead money in 2025 if a new deal doesn’t get done. Jordan Love and Kenny Clark are the 2 most important players on the Green Bay Packers roster entering a contract 2024-25 NFL season, and the front office is operating as such. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Matt Lafluer has given Jordan Morgan a key piece of advice that could shape the young offensive lineman’s early career. As the Packers wrapped up the 1st day of their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, the adjustments made to the offensive line were under the spotlight, particularly with the defense outshining both the 1st and 2nd-team offense. Matt Lafluer has shared his thoughts on Jordan Morgan’s transition, acknowledging the rookie’s potential but also emphasizing the need for growth, especially from a mental standpoint. Certainly, he has a long way to go in terms of just mentally. The Packers open approach to their offensive line configuration suggests flexibility and a willingness to experiment with talent positions to find the optimal lineup. Jordan Morgan, with his evident physical capabilities, faces the challenge of meeting the mental and technical demands of his new role, as the support from the Packers coaching staff remains evident. On another front, Jordan Love, stepping up as the Green Bay Packers quarterback, is drawing positive attention for his leadership and on-field performance, providing a stark contrast to the ongoing drama with Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Love’s ascendancy as a promising young talent in the NFL offers a silver lining for us Packers fans, distancing the team from the controversies tied to Aaron Rodgers. In a turn of events reflecting both controversy and transition, Aaron Rodgers finds himself at the epicenter of debate and disillusionment, while the Packers and their supporters look towards a future with Jordan Love steering the ship. Go Pack Go 💚💛

I knew it was time to move on from Rodgers when he began rolling his eyes at rookie receivers! Rodgers was truly a great on the field, but when he became a Diva who couldn't tolerate young players making mistakes, but when a QB puts his own ego ahead of the team, it's time to move on... Well, now AR is the New York Jets' problem, and lucky is GB to have gotten Luke Musgrave for it!

I'm concerned Morgan could be a major bust. Word is he's having a ton of false starts and getting beat routinely on the line. Not good at all for our first round pick.

Our Starting safety Xavier McKinney’s excused absence from minicamp (our cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Keisean Nixon were also excused) resulted in some depth-chart shuffling that had Zayn Anderson getting a ton of snaps with the #2 defense, and he cashed in. He intercepted 3 passes during 2’s vs 2’s, 1 in the end zone, another off of a deflection on a pass that should’ve been caught, and then a practice-ender on a description throw to conclude the 2nd 2-minute drill. Zayne Anderson played in 12 games last year, including playoffs, almost exclusively on special teams and recorded 5 coverage tackles. Undrafted 3 years ago out of Brigham Young, he spent time previously with the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills before being claimed on waivers last summer. There’s a ton of youth in our safety room behind Xavier McKinney with this year’s 3 draft picks getting the most attention, but Zayne Anderson sent a message that he’s here to compete and play his heart out in Green Bay, too. Go Pack Go 💚💛

@@SportsTalkWisconsin He has a 4.43 40 time which is the fastest 40 time of the safety group. He's displayed great reaction time and open field tackling ability but so far in OTA's he's displayed the ability to read and react to the QB.
