Interesting thought exercise and real world test. The results show that a quality VND without crosshatching is a videographers best friend. ISO settings are a crutch and a bad habit to get into. Adjusting ISO should really only be done in photography to fine tune exposure in between stops.

Hi, great review. I agree with all you said. I own the H5 and the H8 which I use for my short films/documentary/Foley/Ambience etc. Great products. The EXH-6 attachment is a great addition as it works with both H5/H8. My gear besides the 2 Zooms is a Sennheiser MKE600, a few small condensers Behringer B-5 (very quiet and underrated in my opinion) Sony PXW-X70 4K Camcorder. I edit on 2013 MacBook Pro using Logic and Final Cut Pro.

i don't get how the shutter works as you go over the 360 degrees angle. So if i get well when you use 360 degrees the shutter stays open as long as the tatal duration of the frame. What happens when you get beyond this 360 angle? Does the shutter stay open on the next frame? So basically it never closes for the whole second.

Ok, but how can i record video on custom mode 1, on C dial? I just simply press the red button on the camera? When i set the "C" on dial, my camera set on photo mode, not the manual record mode.

gimbal protection is blue screen of death. Mine did that and had to be replaced so it's not a good thing.

RAID 1 is not a backup ! it is for availability if a drive fails. that being said, I need a RAID 1 enclosure. did you test the enclosure in RAID 1 mode ? I currently have a Delock enclosure where one drive regularly fails, I think it overheats.

You were on a jetski with your controller? You know that humid, salt air kills electronics? My air 3 and mini 4 pro have been faultless so far... are you sure you didn't get salt water spray on your controller? I might take my controller on a boat, but not a jetski. Even in a boat, I would have the controller in a ziploc bag or something. Best of luck

I live in the US and ordered my Pocket 3 creator combo from a big retail store. They said I would have it on 14 November 2023. Then the date slipped to 16 November and now it has slipped to 8 December 2023. I checked on Amazon and they estimate deliver dates of 28 Dec thru 8 Jan 2024. I wonder what is really going on with DJI. Is this camera that popular or ?.
