thank you so much bro, I have another problem where I struggle to change the background color, which is white and I want to turn it into other colors using the fill tool, but I already drew the lineart into separate layer above, now how can I change the background color using the fill tool without affecting the lineart?

Hi. I have installed the plugin and it shows up in my settings but I do not see a docker. My graphics card is a NVidia GeForce 1660 super. What might I be missing? Can some one help please?

To be fair they still have the one time price, it just doesn't have free updates. You don't have to re-up if you are happy with the current version. It's not like Adobe where you have to have a subscription to use the software at all.

I don't really understand whats the point of this video, what you are telling us (without any explanation why) is that Krita can mimic the CSP UI, of course it can, but WHY would I do that when Krita is capable of a much better looking and practical UI than CSP ever had. Also if you want CSP UI, why don't you simply use CSP?
@RexelBartolome21 күн бұрын
i understand its weird to see this as its own video but this was a series of videos that came after CSP made a fuss about abandoning the one time payment and turning their future updates into a subscription. A lot of people looked into Krita to replace CSP so I tried my best to show how to adjust the shortcuts, settings, etc. so they can feel at home in Krita when transitioning

Thank you for this video! I'm looking around for tutorials on how to understand brushes and this is right in the range of what I want. Something more informational than "try out the effects for yourself!" but more about understanding extant brushes than "nitty gritty explanation of how to create a brand new brush".

Please, could explain how do i set the origin clone point in android, because you can not use a key to control the brush behavior. Thanks! Great ideas for textures!
@jeffreypostma6832Ай бұрын
One thing I also see artists do a lot is work with the lasso to quickly create shapes, then paint inside them with textured brushes.
@jeffreypostma6832Ай бұрын
I use this method too to paint, and made some versions of this with various brush tips, like a softer one or a rake like brush. Another very interesting brush engine to use alongside this, is the clone engine. This works different than the clone stamp in Photoshop, which just mirrors a specific part of the image. Rather than that it samples the color information of a selected piece of the canvas only, so you can get very cool multicolor brushes. Especially with flat brush shapes it is so nice to play with.

Oh my god, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING THIS CANVAS VIEW OPTION ""WRAP AROUND MODE"" FOR YEARS 😭🙏❤❤❤ Thank you so much. After years doing the slowest way in photoshop, having to work with 16x16, import to minecraft, press to update the texture inside game, wait seconds to game reload all chunks just so i can check if a micro-change i did looks good and connected. This is going to change everything for me. Thank you very much to make this video exists ❤

Ai is crap for story boarding and making comics , The likenesses and clothing all ways changes from scene to scene
@RexelBartolome2 ай бұрын
there's a bunch of progress in that regard, instantID and Lora's for example. But yes, the artist would need to tweak it most of the time to get consistent results
@dwainmorris78542 ай бұрын
@@RexelBartolome Tweak it, yeah more like rebuild It , because I have tried all of them. If you have an imported Image of a characters costume it will never reproduce it exactly . Lora's are only good for getting the characters likeness and body type down , clothing is all over the place . Plus Alot of apps have cencorship like , no fight scenes, no guns ; no celebrities ; and no bikinies

Why do you upscale it two times ? Is there a reason for that ? Nevermind i found the answer of my question... There are some things you can do to "improve" your workflow: You should first delete the second upscaler. It's clearly not needed and performance hungry if you're upscaling pictures greater than 1024x1024. If you do so, you need to change the second and third "Math" to 2 instead of 4, if it's 2x model set the second to 1 and the third to 2. Also the Resize (Resolution) has purpose only if your Crop node is greater than your target resolution. Also i went into a loophole because of the upscaler's "Auto (estimation)" If you're stuck on it, change it to 256 or 512 size. It will prevent loophole (seen on the main.log). This should improve slighty the speed of upscaling for users with low-mid end computers. Very good workflow i never though it would be possible to actually do seamless upscales with perfect results.

I'm using AutoHotPie it's free on github. It has a number of features to 'disable' the activation of the pie menu, only enabling it on certain apps/windows or disabling the activation with a hotkey etc.

people are too attached to brushes but the real secret here is the color picking. It really doesn't matter the brush you use.
@RexelBartolome4 ай бұрын
yes, it's a pretty common trap to fall into. Novices see the textures and want to emulate it in their own work without knowing values and colors are the ones that makes or breaks a painting, not texture.

Still quality beats quantity. As a concept artist you also need to make sure props will make sense and work. Like there has to be some spring mechanism to load the crossbow and the arrow has to somehow sit on top. What AI did is put random shapes with a handle that resemble crosbow. Not enough to be good concept. Also some 3d artist might get brain damage from trying to model some of the concepts because AI tend to create weird perspective or geometry.
@RexelBartolome5 ай бұрын
I see what you mean and yea i agree with you. I see it more of as someone you can bounce ideas with or some added chaos to explore new venues, like how a chaotic brush shape can give interesting shapes to the silhouette. In the hands of a skilled artist, it's only a tool to aid in exploring designs :)
