I thought you don’t wash meat. Just pat it dry otherwise you’re spreading bacteria. Cooking kills the bacteria 🤷♀️

Does pressure cooking it with beer / dr pepper make a difference in flavor ? Ive seen different recipes using beer and dr pepper

It will take on whatever flavor liquid you use.

I noticed that you didn't trim the membrane fat off the back of the ribs. Is there a reason for this or just a matter of personal choice?
@philoldham42087 ай бұрын
It will be even better if you remove the membrane on the bone side.

I own and use a pit barrel smoker, which is great but this is much faster and less effort. They taste great too.

do you need to drain the pot between pressure cook and air fry?

You said that you are not a cook, before you even start you should always take off the membrane that is the inner skin of pork because the membrane is as tough as old boots and it will not cook. As for the rest it's ok however there are better ways.
@okstever Жыл бұрын
Please don't bite my head off but you'd be better off patting down the ribs w a paper towel because when you blast them with water like that, the water splatters all over the place leaving bacteria everywhere. Also, you need to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
@sipadip6 ай бұрын
This. The washing is unnecessary and that sink prolly has more bacteria than what is percieved in the juices of the bag. Other than that and the membrane note it looks good and Ill look to try.. i just discovered short ribs in the foodi are awesome, ill look to do the full rack next.

Can't wait to try it I'm a big raw meat Can't touch anything So I will measure out salt and paper in a small bowl so I don't get raw meat on pepper and salt shakers everytime I'm flipping raw meat with my hands I also have a raw meat cutting board and I would carefully wash raw meat in sink pat dry with paper towels and place on cutting board not back in the sink ❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE YOUR RECIPE! I’m cooking these right now but I used a Bottle of Budweiser instead of the Dr. Pepper and of course I used Sweet Baby Ray’s but with Hickory & Brown sugar. I’ll let you know how they turned out. I’m so excited! YES, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS RECIPE! Well Nick, Let me tell you this, they were soo good and I learned a few things about what NOT TO DO, the next time I make them because there will be a next time that’s for sure. These were some really big ribs with lots of meat on them, which I had placed up at the top of the foodie during the last part and they got charred. I blame myself for that but I’m new to this FOODIE thing and will know better the next time and will put them bone side up on the air fry part the next time I make them and I will tenderize them a bit before, as well. Happy Campers😊
