In hindsight, Laura, as hot as she was, was shallow as hell. Her sudden transformation at the end and falling in love with Steve made no sense. Sure, she was great for eye candy, but her character was a shallow bitch who every once in a while stood up for the right things. This episode is another example. She couldn't way to have Stefan back. Sure, I got it in Weird Science because the 2 boys were nerds and couldn't get any girl. What was Laura's excuse? She was hot. She could get any stud she wants. She doesn't need Stefan. She had plenty of dates with good looking jackasses. Find another one. As a teenager, I was more okay with this because at least I'd see Laura in a sexy outfit make out with someone. But as an adult, to hell with that. It all makes me miss Michelle Thomas even more.
