So here's a question from a total amature. LOL On this CRV (ours is a 2016 Honda CRV AWD), of course I use those 4 lift areas when changing tires, fall/spring. No issue. But I'm looking to buy one of those 3 ton air bag jacks that we connect to the compressor. I'm trying to make the job easier. Of course, it will lift at those point, but if I do that, then I can't secure the vehicle with a jack stand. So my question is, would it be ok to lift via the arms that support the wheels? I'm not sure if there's frame there, if so, then that should be fine. But I'm not sure. It looks solid at the rear (for lifting one side at a time) but at the front, other than the side supports, I wonder if it would be a bad idea to lift via the large "A" control arm (I think it's called). I do know that I can lift at the rear via the hook thing (or the trailer hitch itself (class 3), but I'm not sure about the front, if there's a central lift area. ??? Ideas please? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the video-wish I’d started doing this years ago. One problem I had, at the back of the cover on the right side the top needed to slide into some sort of tab. It was hard to see so it took a while to make it catch and only after that was in did the clips line up properly. So make a note in case you have that same feature as on my 2010. I was going crazy bc the clips weren’t lining up correctly. 👍

I just bought a 2009 CRV and the owners manual says your dealer will reset the oil life when you go for regular maintenance. I change my own oil so that’s not helpful. Your video is very helpful Thank you sir!
