I would like to use my COMBI steam oven to cook Portuguese bread ( a 76% hydration bread) which is so easy to make in the Thermomix. The recipe says to bake it at.250 C for half hour but even at 230 C it seems to burn in my Miele oven. I have tried using moisture plus and would like to try the COMBI steam oven. I would really appreciate your advice and instructions. Both my ovens have a probe Miele XXL .

I purchased the Samsung stackable washer and dryer in the year 2019. I was having knee surgery and wanted the machines installed for convenience. My current washer and dryer was in the basement, I AM A ONE PERSON HOUSEHOLD!!!! ITS JUST ME HERE DOING 3 LOADS OF LAUNDRY PER WEEK. A dark, a white load and one set of sheets and towels. With that said, the main circuit board failed in the washer machine after two years. Had that fixed. Now this month August 2024, the dryer barrel will not turn and it just makes a humming noise. So I am clear, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG JUNK. not only that, they take a very long time to set up repair appointment. Look no further, buy another brand like LG or Maytag.

They are garbage. Almost immediately after the warranty expired, the washer stopped working properly. It now takes 3+ hours to wash, and only after i keep restarting it about 10 times during that 3+ hours. Its 2024 and they can’t make a dependable washer? Every stupid additional feature is one more point of failure.

Don't buy a Jenn-Air 30" induction cooktop. It's slow. Jenn-air will not stand behind their product. It's the worst. & Jenn-Air is the worst.

14 years ago I got a Miele G4000 series dishwasher and after 8 years of use (1 wash per night) the circulation motor went bad. Instead of replace the motor, I went with another Miele and got the newer 6600 series $1500. I've had it just a little over 6 years and now the motor is starting to make a loud humming sound and like it is starting to go out. The part is $550 and Miele tech would charge $400 for labor, so about $1000...not worth it. A new Miele would again be around $1500-1700. But with 2 going bad with the motors lasting between 6-8 years, I'm thinking about going with a different brand like Asko.

I have a Nuwave portable induction stove and I was surprised to see my titanium cookware worked on it. I can assure you the pans, plates and cups are not an alloy with titanium, they are 100% Ti and not even a neodymium magnet is interested in sticking to them. Can you explain this?

Worth every penny, but you have to put it in a house (value) that can support it. In must cities these days, $750.000 and above.

My mother has a top-loader, and it smells musty. We have to run it with tabs on the sanitize cycle every few months. Meanwhile, my 30 year old Miele front loader has never had any mold in it.

I’ve use my Kenmore Elite Front load since 2013. I leave the door and detergent dispenser open at all times when not in use and I clean under the gasket and dry the door. I run the clean cycle with bleach once per month. I have never had any issue with mold at all

Front loaders look like they’re from this century? I’m 57. Back in 1971, when I was 4, we lived in the Netherlands, and I can still remember being mesmerized watching the front-loading washer in the kitchen. I don’t know why it’s taken Americans so long to catch on. But they are only priced higher than top loaders because fewer Americans use them.

Be careful selecting model # GDSH4715AF. This Frigidaire gallery dishwasher does not have a heated drying cycle. You will have to manual dry your dishes with a towel every time.

Dyson are miles ahead of the cordless game. Miele are OK but there’s a number of drawbacks. 1. They are terrible on plush pile carpet. With only 2 speed settings and the absence of adjustable gates on the cleaner head, they are impossible to use on plush pile carpet. Dyson has 3 suction settings and adjustable gates to combat this. 2. Dyson has dynamic load sensor technology on models from V11 upwards. Adjusting the suction (and therefore battery life) depending on how much dirt is being picked up. 3. Dyson’s filtration is the best of any bagless machine. Miele filters become clogged very quickly compared with Dyson filters, which can be washed as little as once every 3 months. 4. The emptying mechanism on Dyson cordless vacuums is far superior to Miele. The ‘point and shoot’ of the V10 onwards makes emptying the dust canister much easier. Granted, this isn’t as hygienic as using disposable bags but if you’ve bought a bagless machine this will always be a drawback. I’ve nothing against Miele overall but Dyson trumps Miele and any other cordless machine on the market.

A friend of ours had a Samsung front-loading washer and dryer and the washing machine quit working. I am a pretty handy guy so I told her that I'd take a look at it. Turns out the spyder shaft assembly attached to the back of the stainless steel tub was broken. It was all corroded and brittle. Turns out when the zinc spider arms comes in contact with the stainless steel a chemical reaction occurs and the zinc becomes deteriorated thus causing it to fail. This machine was made in Korea and I guess it was cheaper to use zinc than stainless steel. I ordered a new part and installed it. The machine still wouldn't work because I found out that the circuit board went bad. I don't know what she did with the washer. Turns out that my wife and I had bought an identical washer and dryer only we got the natural gas style dryer. It is about 7 years old. Last week while removing clothes from the washer I noticed that the drum was making a squeaking sound. On Saturday 7/13/2024 our laundry room and kitchen was filled with lots of stinking smoke coming from inside the washer. The same gear wore out and the front of the tub was rubbing against the front rubber gasket while on the spin cycle. We were lucky that it did not catch fire because the gasket was melting. I will never leave an appliance of any kind running while not at home or in bed at night. We did our research and bought a Speed Queen top-loading washer and couldn't be happier with it. It is much quieter too. Since our old Samsung dryer is still working we will keep it for now. Just about all of the laundry mats in this country use Speed Queen washers and dryers. That says a lot about the quality. Plus they are made in the USA.

MY MACHINE FAILED I FOUND THE SPIDER CORRODED AND BROKEN DAMAGED ..IF THE SPIDER WAS MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL IT WOULD NOT HAVE DAMAGED . BUT THEY USE ALUMINUM CAST HIGHLY PRONE TO CORRODE. AND THE SPARE NOT AVAILABLE . IIN LOCAL MARKET AND IN AMAZON .. WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR MY MACHINE . THOGHT IT WILL SURVIVE ATLEAST FOR 5 YEARS FOR THE HUGE PRICE I PAYED FOR IT . 😪. NEVER AGAIN . I have a single slim induction hob still brand new in the box, never used. It feels solid & well made & I think it kinda looks like a futuristic video game console! I'm learning as much as I can about these because I don't want to damage or break it, it wasn't exactly cheap & I'm wanting it in good condition for many years to come 🙏

We just bought a washer. Wifi is just another feature that can break. Just set a timer on your phone when the wash will be complete. Simple and effective.
