Miele dishwashers are known for their high-end luxury features, wash quality, and game-changing innovations that make your life easier. In this video, we'll unwrap Miele's newest entry-level G5000 series which replaces their old Classic G4000 series.
The beauty of all the G5000 models is that they have high-end features that used to come only on more expensive machines like the G7000.
In this video, we'll go over each series and explain why we are so excited about this new lineup. We'll also reveal our top pick within the G5000 series.

Just got my new Miele, although a G 7000 model. Wasn't even that much more expensive than a G 5000. There is nothing better on the dishwasher market than a Miele, period. In case anyone is wondering, the tilted rack at 1:25 is not a mistake. You can deliberately lower the rack on one side only, that's for certain types of glasses/dishes which would otherwise collect water on top of them, for example if they have deep indentations on the bottom.

Just bought a Miele 7566. Theirs only one machine that comes close and Miele makes more other appliances that can Wi-Fi connect and have same look. When it comes to dishwashers Miele is the leader

Great video! It looks like the 5000 series is brand new(ish) and the 7000 series has been out for a while. In comparing the 5892 and the 7156, they both retail for $1,699 but it seems the 5892 might be better? It has the built in LED lights, the maxiComfort basket instead of the ExtraComfort, Wifi connectivity, runs slightly quieter, has more wash cycles, and more rinse cycles. I was looking at the 7156 but now im leaning towards the 5892 as it seems like it's newer and offers more for the same price. Basically it's the top of the line 5000 series vs the entry level 7000 series. Are there some details that im missing that make the 7156 better? Or maybe the new 7000 series is coming out soon to replace the current lineup?

I just realized their are obvious differences, the 5892 is an 18" and not 24" like the 7156 and it comes panel ready therefore it doesn't have a front panel or handle like the 7156. Now the price makes more sense

My Miele G522i from 1988 does a 65°C full cycle at less than an hour too. So please don't say, Mieles from the past never had that feature. I think, it's pretty much a low end machine, back in the days, with not many programs to choose from.

Wow! From 1988? You’ve had the dishwasher 34 years!! That’s incredible! Is it still running well? I didn’t understand part of your comment though. You said they’re low end dishwashers?
@kokkieamiga
@kokkieamiga 2 жыл бұрын
@@tnijoo5109 Yes, it's still running reasonably good, but it washed better a couple of years ago. What I do now, to make it wash well, is to put 2 dishwasher tabs into it, 1 in the detergent compartment and the other one in the cutlery basket. Because it will extend the contact time of the detergent. But I only do this when I have saved up dishes for a few days before running the cycle. I always use separate rinse aid and salt. When it's built in the tab, like a 3 in 1 solution, it never works that well. And with 'low end machine', I meant, that my machine was probably one, as it only has a short 45°, universal 55°, universal 65° and a cold 5 mins cycle. But these days I only make use of the 65°C cycle. That's all you need for everything. Because dishwasher detergent generally works better in hotter water.

Miele has made a lemon. Remember the robovac disaster circa 2017? Possibly the worst robovac on the market.

They don’t make lemons? Mine was a lemon. $2300 dishwasher lasted barely 5 years. The drain motor wouldn’t stop running. Replaced non return valve. Wasn’t the issue. Took out the drain pan. Bone dry. Replaced floater switch. Nope. Opened the controller board - bingo. The board burned out the plug (the 7 connector plug) connected to my drain motor. The motor refused to stop draining. Paid Miele $300 only for them to tell me it’s cost another $1200 to fix. Are you for reals??? They blamed me for user error. What the what??? How on earth do I burn out the controller board? Don’t buy Miele. They claim they have such great reliability but mine didn’t last 5 years. Trash. I threw out that $2300 paper weight and bought an LG.

Wow! Sounds awful. I’m shopping for a new dishwasher. What year was yours from? Or model? Did you have any warranty for it? Im thinking of getting the five year warranty. I really want one that will last a long time and not have issues.

@@tnijoo5109 Got the Miele 6365scvi. Board just burned one day along with the plug connected to the drain motor. Replaced it with an LG from Costco. From my tons of research, it seems like every single brand will have issues and people who have had problems with it. Which means, don’t spend $2000 on a Miele and expect it to last >5 years. My suggestion is to buy the cheapest model that fits your needs (decibel level, modes, drying, steam) and expect to buy a new one in 5 years. Spending $700 and having savings for two new units is a lot better than buying a single $2100 fancy unit.

@@johnleo6201 oh man, that’s exactly the thing I’ve been debating about. I hate that appliances are made to be replaced so quickly. I really wanted one that would last a long time, like things used to. You could have a washer and dryer for 25 years with no problems. The dishwasher I have now is from the 90s. The only reason I’m replacing it is because I don’t like the smell. Thanks a lot for the info. I’m taking this into deep consideration. You’ve got me thinking a whole 180.

I had mine for 24 years and moved and left it. It never had a service call or malfunction. It does take some knowledge to operate it effectively.. The filter needs cleaning manually which I don’t mind. The American ones with a “self cleaning” filter just get caked in build up. All Miela dishwashers have a water softener which enables washing expensive cut lead crystal with no problem. Softening the water means very little detergent is required for non-greasy loads. When I got to my new place I went down and bought a new top of the line Miele and didn’t question the price or extended wait to get it.
