Jamming the trimmer into the thick stuff is the fastest way of stalling the machine. There is no reason to do that. Ease it into the brush for each pass and let the heavy strings do the work gradually so the cut vegetation has a chance to be thrown clear of the rotating string head.

Can anyone tell me if the 2011 Ford Fiesta (manual transmission) has an air intake control valve or not? I can't find it anywhere on my car, but they are available for sale online. However, some forum posts are saying they don't have one.

I just replaced my TPS. Now it doesn't want to start, and/or stalls out if I don't keep my foot on the gas. Did I do something wrong, or do I have to have codes/computer reset? Once the engine is warmed up (too many minutes for my liking) it seems to run better. HELP Please...

This happened to me. Don't put on both gasket if your body throttle has a chamfer use the O-ring not the paper gasket. When you put the TPS make sure it's turn to the right and push all the way in. You should feel the spring when you twist it in to position.

I bought this with the intention of cutting back the briars along our wooded areas thinking it was a bit more heavier duty than just a yard trimmer. The string NEVER stays attached long enough to get anything done. I feel it is a poor design. There are others out their that hold the thicker string in place much better than this thing. I am not impressed at all.

That is the exact baffle that's in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L V8 Except my dumb ass had the hood fall on my head hitting the baffle on the hood, snapping it in pieces. So I gotta find one, maybe it helps in some way. I thought it was put there by Mopar to inconvenience anyone filling their engine!

I just had this exact problem. Took it to an ac garage and they confirmed the fan assembly was bad. didn't get them to change it out (cost was crazy) so decided i would do it myself. Gets the car back from them and now there isnt any AC at all...... not just when idle even when moving theres no ac. Nothing! so im well annoyed now, before it was bearable, but now its unbearable. I replaced the fan assembly and now have to fault find the rest of the system to see what they messed up or left out.

My 2014 has started doing the same thing. I just changed the Pedal hoping that sensor was the problem. It wasn't! Now I will try the Throttle Body.

check them bearings in front, could be slowing you down.

Its not a bush hog. Think you will find it takes a very sharp blade to cut a Yuca bush. Mine will TRIM fine

Btw if anyone is reading this I had a P0068 error code, which could be the TBI or the Maf sensor. Strangely enough I took the Maf sensor out a month ago for the 1st time to spray it clean maybe I damaged it! Inexpensive to replace nonetheless.

Got the same error code along with a p0101. MAf looks good. Next up is throttle body cleaning. 110k miles on the car

Thank you sir! I removed mine just to clean it but this helped so much as every car is different in where the screws are mounted. Turns out this is quite simple to remove so thank you to Ford too. Also after taking it out noticed the butterfly valve doesn't close entirely flat. After seeing this video it doesn't close flat when new either. Good to know! That it isn't a problem.

Nope. The Craftsman out did them all. I have had mine for 6 years now. Replaced the Ball head twice. I did try a Cub but it didn't last. I picked up a Swisher that had a FREE sign on it. Working with that now to work out the kinks in it. Runs good but string is still a problem.
