I agree this was the beginning of their decline.. the only other notable songs were In My Sword I Trust, and Unsung Heroes.. The next two albums were arguable worse...

The whole song lead to that point at 14:59. Everything before that is only a build-up to that moment. All the chaos, all the weird bits, all the rage and softness of the previous parts of the song, etc. they all come crashing together, and from this point forward, until the end of the song, everything makes sense. You find a sort of peace of mind. 14:59 to 17:01 is the reward for the previous 15 minutes. One of the greatest moments in music history as far as I'm concerned.

This is by far their worst song. Jesus Christ what the fuck were they thinking, this is so stupid. What's worse is the placement at the end of their album, so, this is the last thing you hear before it ends. Really puts a bad taste in your mouth about the album as a whole.

Just amazing. Sitting here (9 years too late, I know) and listen with ears wide open. I listened Amorphis, Nightwish, Korpiklaani and other finnish bands but never I began to weep while listening. What a wonderfull music. I listened to their other records but no one could touch my heart like this one. For me there is magic in this music. Incredible.

I was expecting not to find a metal cover of bamboleo, I don't know why did I want to be disappointed yet searching, maybe just a magical power made me search this. but hey, finding this isn't a regret at all lol.

man I wish ensiferum had pursued this progressive style wholeheartedly in later albums rather than the terrible epic nerd music for playing world of warcraft to they make now.
