If you like herbal teas and remedies try Traditional Medicinals teas. They sell a sampler package that has throat coat, cold care, breath easy and a few others that work wonders

Hi I've been stuck in the freeze response since 2020's lockdown shenanigans as a late diagnosed ASD and ADHD 41 year old. I've finally started unpacking my many art materials to organise so I can actually start using them. I've collected so much over the years but been frightened to actually do something with it all!! I'm excited and scared to get started with art/crafty stuff again but am aiming to make a start. I love your creativity, very inspiring, thank you for sharing xx

Love these suggestions. One thing in particular that helps me is 10 minutes of meditation in the morning. It calms my mind, and I can feel the effects for the rest of the day.

'Creativity takes courage'. Thank you. Just what I needed to hear. I haven't been able to paint for a year and a half because family moved in and I no longer have the room to do big canvases. I have been desperate to get my paints and pens out. This gives me the opportunity to keep creating before the withdrawals kill me! Courage is what I need and the place my mind goes when I create is worth the risk! :D

It's lovely to read all these comments. I'm 64 and just recently discovered AI art. I also dabble with coloured pencils and bought a cheap erasable notebook that I can sketch in. Not earthshaking stuff, but fun, restful and nurturing. Keep on creating and sharing❤

I find that connecting spiritually greatly helps whether in deep prayer or attending church. Often, what I need to hear comes out in the sermon like a hug from God. Another question one might ask themselves is whether there's an unresolved issue or repressed memory creating a problem for you. Never hesitate to speak with a counselor, it is so helpful. Simplify your life. We all have too much stuff. Keep only what you dearly love and share your extra with someone else. Lastly, get outside yourself and break the normal routine - have lunch with a dear friend, volunteer to help others even if just for a day, go to the beach to just sit, or visit a museum for inspiration and learning! Hope this helps. Thanks Wendy, you listed everything I've done myself!! Sending love and healing thoughts!!

Oh girl.. I totally understand!.. after my husband of 54 yrs passed away last yr.. I only leave once or twice a month... just to take care of business and get some groceries.. I'm happy in "our"home...cocooning is something I've never done but I am embarrassing it now.. liked the way you shared and gave us permission to cocoon when we need!.. keep busy with learning to paint, journaling, making books and gardening ... It's so exciting to set up a new studio place! PLEASE tell me where you bought the beautiful little stove! I loved my woodstove but have moved and cannot have a woodstove now but that little stove you have is a perfect substitute! I've rewound and paused the video several times trying to see the company name on the stove, lol! I can't catch a glimpse of the name. I would be so appreciative if you could let me know! Thank you! I love your peaceful videos!♥

A couple years ago, I started making junk journals. I find it fun and like meditation. You don’t need a lot of supplies, it’s fun using “junk” around the house. Google ‘junk journals’ and it may take you out of your head for a while.

Your art and vibes are so charming and uplifting. Your words "I shall be here cheering you along" stick with me. I appreciate your videos! I'm in my late 20s and have been "set behind" by toxic family situations and my own chronic illnesses. Nearing the beginning of my 30s with no real career, spouse or children... just coming out of mental illness and trauma, feeling lost and wondering where to begin again. But you remind me that we're not alone when we feel those ways. Thank you for your inspiration!

You sound like you deal with ongoing mental health struggles, hopefully you have a good doctor and or a therapist? Your life is very idyllic from what you present here...doing all the art you want, daily nature walks if you want, not having to have a regular job. Sounds like a dream.

I put my AA degree in Library and Information Technology on hold until I have my surgery and have finished final requirement classes but I do plan on getting that as well as a degree in Japanese language. Not sure if I want to do the Japanese language all the way to a BA or a Masters Degree in Library Science with a AA in Japanese Language.

That quote from Van Gogh is so true! I have low energy and find it difficult to do usual things. I live alone, so I don't have to listen to people's "you are lazy" all the time. I generally don't share how I feel. I don't feel better if I do and generally people are judgemental. But I would love to go for a walk in nature, listen to birds and the wind playing with the trees' leaves. The problem is I live in Bucharest, which is noisy and has very few green and quiet spots. So I invested in noise cancelling headphones and I listen to nature sounds when I'm at home. I love watching Gardeners World and art videos and I love doing crosswords puzzles, they help a lot. That's about it... Wishing you the energy to enjoy the things you love.

Is it a fear of going out or just a lack of desire? During Covid I self isolated on our property for three weeks. When you enjoy your space and the people who surround you I think it’s healthy. If fear is motivating you then examine those fears. Are they a real possibility or is your mind playing tricks on you. You basically are still in moving transition so taking a break sounds normal.

I am 74. I have been alone for most of my life.. but 4 years ago i met some one who i fell deeplyvin love with. I moved in with him 2 years after we first met...and then 4 months ago my cat and i moved out. It didnt work out. We should have met when we were much younger. I found myself loosing touch with who i really was and trying to become the person he expected me to be. Anyway... i too am an artist and finding my creativity has bounced back.. i love being able to let the day take its own course. And i have found myself again...the me i like. My cat seems quite happy which is a relief too. Maybe he just likes me to be happy too. Thank you for your channell. Us artists really are a special clan arnt we? Philosophers and fools who have a SPECIAL calling. Thank you. ♡

Thanks for the video Wendy. I’m an introvert and can suffer with social anxiety. I have a limit to how much social interaction I can have before I need to retreat. It can be hard for friends and family who don’t understand that need because they get energy from being social. I have no qualms anymore about putting my mental and emotional health first and actually after a particularly social and busy week, that’s what I’m doing this weekend…I’m giving myself some time out. It’s been wonderful! 😊

Even before the lockdown I was desperate to move out to the country. I wanted to be away from people and surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, with the lockdown , shortage of houses and high prices we ended buying our son's house in a golf community. Nice but so different than what I wished for. Always dreaming of an escape from the city life.I need a quiet place.

We have to do our best to create the quiet nature retreat in the home we have. Forest Path wall color, nature cds, tree branches, animal paintings, bird song, maybe a small fountain...not nearly the same, but it helps us to remember what is truly our dream and who we really are.

Thank you. This really helped me. I did feel like I was drowning. We are in the middle of moving and trying to finish up things in our old house and job of 24 years! I was wondering why I am just feeling so very tired! Just brain overload. So after watching your video I plan to sit and draw while listening to an audio book. We are moving to a wonderful forever home so things will be wonderful soon. Thank you so much.xx
