We need a re-run. Those 50% of absent voters need to come out in the 2nd round.

The mistrust in the system is due to such blatant ANC corruption with no clear accountability... (exacerbated by the Covid mess I think)

EFF with almost 10% absolutely amazes me esp considering the leanings of some of the more popular parties there. Great to see the ANCs grip on power is falling though. Keep up the great work mate, remember if things become untenable we’d love to adopt you here in Australia!

And also devolution of powers to provinces and muncipalities..Thanks Ernst for the vid

Wonder why people speak of history but I think President Zuma created a master strategy to stop USA and allies who were salivating to recolonise South Africa. The country must move away from the USA hot iron democratic brand is not suitable. 1) USA has political class and majority have no say as they are forced too finance wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Biden was hoping B3B recolonisation era 2) people are powerless in the law abiding 3) Foreign corporations still own 100% equity which must be changed to less than 50%. If people fail to understand foreign corporation create the natural outcome of colonialisation. They failed to make other rich as the process require to keep others poor.

With Cyril gone, the MK party may reconsider aligning with the ANC..and in time we might see the familiar smile of Zuma stamped all over our lives. Happy to be living in the WCape; will be even happier with complete cessation from this troublesome country SAfrica. We will not give up on the ideal of an Independent Western Cape!!
@plaxci2 күн бұрын
I think if people wanted cessation then the referendum party would've had quite a larger percentage of Wcape votes.

Living under WEF and UN I think is going to be even worse. This is where all this will eventually end up. That is the goal of the Elites. So, the DA is part of this evil axis. Don't celebrate. Being totally independent from the rest of the world like the old government showed is possible, is the way to go.

Wonderful man. He had to do what he had to do at the time. So sad that South Africa isn’t a confederation or a federation and is ruled by the ANC. De Klerk opened the gates of hell into South Africa.

there will NOT BE A COALITION - there will be a minority government with certain parties guaranteeing supply. The ANC mp's will NEVER give up their freebies. !!!! - very volatile -in a year's time ypu will look at the current exchange rate with great sadness

Well said..... The next few yrs will be the learning curve and im hopeful that people will conclude that system change must happen sooner or later in order for this country to thrive. And that their vote does really count. We the people should be the ones to vote in a president. In my opinion, regarding the imminent coalitions, which was already on the cards leading up to the elections, thats a recipe for disaster but what must be will be. Yes Its up to us to do what needs doing within our communities to uplift them and make the difference and not wait on govt to do what we can do for ourselves. We are in for a very rocky time, but alls not lost. Theres always Hope.

DA did not recover, 1% is rubbish! nor was Musi woke. DA lost some great members along with Musi and until they shed their racist perceptions they just won't grow. These 2024 elections showed that we need to keep the MK out. I personally want to thank all parties for eating into ANC vote while hopefully working immediately to keep the MK at bay and then to send them to the Political Dumpster.

Good analysis, but when you say most people would like a DA / ANC coalition. I think that should be qualified by saying most white people would like that coalition. DA has hardly any black leadership especially in major positions. It is a insult to black South Africans we need white people to govern us because they know best, and blacks are incompetent in governing themselves. I believe BRICS especially China could fill the void in Western capital. What are your thoughts

Best analysis of the elections thus far, SA is at a crossroads, which path will it take?
@Yvdberg3 күн бұрын
The chaos of the coalition government, will be the last nail in the coffin for the citizens. The government will have less and less power, and will dissolve, by then Afriforum and Solidariteit will swiftly impliment properous plans that will lift up each and every citizen and South Africa will be envied by the USA and the rest of the world. Watch this space.

Elections here in the UK shortly... a choice between tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum, interestingly, the mainstream media always ignores the voter turnout, and pretend the amount of votes cast represent 100% of voters

This is pure propaganda the man speaks very highly of the DA and he does not mention the fact that they are a racist party and the they have racist policies for instance they are openly against the minimum wage, BBBEE as well as employment equity policies. This party only cares about its white minority and the markets and does not give a damn about ordinary people on the ground particularly black people.
