The story especially the 3rd act felt more rushed to me. It didn’t hit as hard as the first game. Not sure why they had the same story length if one has way more going on than the other

They need to keep the main spiderman games centered to PETER and give Miles his own spin offs and gives whatever obscure Spiderman copy and paste characters their own spin offs or short gameplay sections like the MJ missions.
@streetside28333 сағат бұрын
This game was not as good as the first and them making Miles the main spiderman in the next game is making no sense to me. Both the first and second game and the setup for the 3rd game are based around Peter Parker. Them adding all these different spiderman characters are spoiling the story. What relation does Miles have to Doc Ock, Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn or any other the other villains suspected for the new game. Why does Norman hate Miles? Because hes a spiderman? It doesn't even make sense why Norman hates Peter Parker spiderman 😂

After 20 hours, I just got bored and gave up. The world building was awesome but I could care less about the story and characters after a while. If the sequel can improve the story, I’m all for it. It’s not going to happen but I wish you could play two characters on two separate paths. One becoming a dark wizard and the other becoming good.

Sea of thieves and no mans sky had such a similar story. Gaping holes in gaming that it looked like they were gonna fill, a colossal flop at launch, but for both games the devs didn't give up and eventually the games became the smash hits they set out to be. Real cool stuff

When the writers of this game wanted us to hate Abby for killing Joel and then, with given context, understand her, failed to realize one key detail. WE PLAYED AS JOEL for the ENTIRE first game. Our love for the character was simply far larger than whatever feelings you'd get for Abby, watching her end him with torture (which by the way, is far more than just shooting/stabbing her dad) created, right away, hatred towards the character. For many, that hatred never left, in fact, i'd say the game only FUELS it once you play as Ellie. Isn't that the point? Ellie's part is a REVENGE QUEST. WHERE'S THE REVENGE? Abby gets everything, Ellie gets nothing. And this is the so called Game of the Year? Oh, please.

I wish that I could’ve been surprised about Bode. I really wanted to be. At the very beginning in Coruscant, he just sketched me out too much. I was suspicious the whole time, but when he revealed himself I was just screaming, “I KNEW IT!”

I already feel this is one of my favourite games of all time And I think if they reworked the storyline and change some shit around it would be perfect Keep the first 20 minutes as is Abby flashback (Jerrys death) Ellie flashbacks (this’ll have the player spend more time with Joel) Then have the time skip, and keep the game the way it is from there

The way this game tries to make you feel sympathy for the POS who smashed Joel's head in with a golf club, 5 minutes after he saved her from being zombie food...is actually quite offensive. If the creators of Red Dead Redemption did this with Micah, it would be the same damn thing. Luckily for us, Rockstar doesn't hate it's fans.

Its hard to know what the human mind is willing to do in such scenarios which makes this story all so interesting for people to further dive into it, i feel like the way they acted was sometimes odd but reasonable making it hard for me to see what is right or wrong about the game. I really liked the game and feel it did what it needed to do showing different themes of hate within the game. please review Ghost of Tsushima, people say it was meant to take the last of us pt2's place as game of the year, i am intrigued to know ur thoughts

I think it’s also weird how it got no recognition whatsoever in game awards… I mean I am a big fan of BG3 but HL was really great at how it created such a detailed Hogwarts castle! I also agree it’s not a spectacular RPG but I also think its target audience should be the children experiencing the HP world anew. 10/10 honestly

If management doesn’t mess it up, the sequel should excel in every way. I fully trust these devs at this point. It’s not a perfect game but it was very ambitious and still managed to set up great groundwork for a sequel. Especially since they already have a full map they could just update a bit, that frees up some time and resources.

The game was okay, once you finished the story, there was nothing to do... I got bored so quickly. I love the customizations of the lightsaber and the options to how to fight, but again, there was nothing to do after you're first play through.

I still personally that this game undermined Peter/Spidey purposely to phase him out and replace him with Miles. Yuri fight should not have been more difficult than the Kraven, or any other REAL super villain.

Spot on true review! My only nitpick would be that while yes as a fan of both the books and movies I'm also a gamer. Hogwarts Legacy is a great as a tool of nostalgia, but as a game all the "loot" is cosmetic, the immersivity like the loot ends at the visuals (ie: What's the point of unkillable NPC's with no direct interaction?!), and with out these core "game" features it fails as a game. The wow of nostalgia only lasted about 4-5 hours of game play and by then I was incredibly bored and opted to exit Hogwarts Legacy to play anything else in my game library to bring me back to life.

I would disagree about the choice due to logistics. Putting all emotions aside, the fireflies are unable to distribute the potential cure to the world. They were unable to transport Ellie without outside help, let alone be trusted to hand out the vaccine to others in good faith. They could use it as a bartering chip and leverage to further personal gain. Point being they logistically will fail. They don’t have numbers or resources to distribute.

The biggest flaw with this game is honesty the biggest flaw with most sequels. It just didn't live up to the hype. From day one I realized how fun it was but people calling it the greatest superhero game ever made rubbed me the wrong way. The story was incredibly rushed and extremely glitchy, we also got half the content from the first game with less side story missions, worse suit variety and abysmal post launch support.

The Abby sections should have been BEFORE she killed Joel. This game is so frustrating because it has really great moments, but they're overshadowed by the plot contrivances and horrible execution.

Interesting seeing as I’m literally the opposite and want to love this game. For the record majority of the comments are positive and the like to dislike ratio is skewed into the extreme positive. I've been thinking about it after someone mentioned Red Dead 3. They should make it that you play as Jack. You continue his story when he is maybe 30-40 years old and that would be in the industrial time or WW1. What will Jack do after everything? He has that gang-mentality with the good side in him. There is alot of ways the story can continue as he tries to find his way in the world. So no GTA 7, first Read Dead 3 haha.
