I'm actually glad to hear Frank's explanation of this because I had always heard that he DIDN'T want to add that bit at the end. Usually studio interference results in a limited film, but in this case it was the right call and I'm glad Frank was able to see that too. It always makes me choke up a bit. Great movie.

Marlon did the most accurate portrayal of an old school Italian grandfather. He reminded me of my own.

Really? people didn’t notice his aging? It was clear both visually with his clothes, and in his posture and movements but also in his voice that dripped with the tired of age!

Ok, Jackie ... but you can tell by the way it's edited that a stunt double was used for the actual jump to the ladder, at least the shot that was in the movie. Jackie was an amazing action star, he did some awesome stunts in his film career, but he's also never really given his stuntmen all the credit they deserve.

He omitted the fact that Louie Armstrong was supposed to be King Louie, but they changed it to Louis Prima because they were afraid of the racist connotations. (For some reason Disney still includes the jungle book in their list of movies with disclaimers about prejudice)
