So you tried 5 orings + apache + gen8 tip over the top just like my setup? Try match normal gen8 nozzle for starters. If I had to guess, more forward. You'd have to test and adjust as not all setups will be the same.

How I stick the the rubber nozzle tips? Just with good quality shock-resistant super glue my friend.

Same here. I got everything in and I can't get the selector to work proper. It's just 3 round burst all around. Can you show the wires u soldered to the selector?

Gotta have good seals, cycling and volume efficiency. Use a good quality barrel that's stabilized. Grow gels to suit the barrel ID and use a decent hopup

No but after 3 or so shots the piston is out of position and won't shoot

Using a 3d printed one also that pressure-fits onto the plastic barrel. It also fits snug inside the muzzle thankfully which pressure-fits onto the outer barrel (non-threaded one)

Agree. If a kid were to ask me which blaster to get if they didn't wanna upgrade yet but wanted something good quality, sturdy, competitive at a field, and had all the bells and whistles, I'd recommend the vector. MK Tactical are also releasing their cnc gearbox soon which means upgrade potential is opening right up. Would be nice if we could use perun's vector mosfet so we'll have to wait and see. Need the ability to turn off AB to use brushless! Cheers John

I blew the original mosfet. User error on my end - plugged in a battery with the opposite connection 🙃 I rebuilt it with 16:1 gears on a 28tpa motor. Less ROF but more torque. Hitting similar fps.

@@gelballblasterhub2972 mad. Brushless? What motor?The tech guy at tac edge recommends against my purchase of a 45k warhead. I’ll wait til I at least have a metal box…anything else you can recommend? There’s really not much out there in the KZfaq space when it comes to this blaster….

@@m.e.1704 Mine's not a brushless. 45k is quite fast and will generally have less torque than the slower versions. I definitely recommend 18:1 gears and no lower if using the 45k. Don't use 12:1's, 16:1's etc. You also can't use a weak spring or you'll get premature engagement (youtube it). A cnc gearbox is recommended. Make sure your gear shimming is good and angle of engagement is corrected. Purchase LDT aftermarket alloy cylinder head and nozzle for a better seal. No point upgrading at all if the seals aren't good. You'll want a good quality mosfet that can switch off active break, as you're not meant to use active break with brushless motors (they have it built in). So yeah, it's a lot to consider. OR... Keep the stock gearbox and motor. Metal gears should already be installed if you have the metal gear version. Upgrade to alloy cylinder head and nozzle, replace barrel for a 25cm one (if using the stock cylinder). Install a bigrrr mosfet and enjoy a reliable blaster that's much cheaper and easier to do.

@@gelballblasterhub2972 thanks for the advice man. Since then; ldx box, shs 18:1 gears and pinion, alloy head and nozzle, bigrrr mosfet and shs hi torque motor (will have to change this, as active braking heats this up a bit…)

Oh, and got a full metal body with RAS hand guard and a bifrost tracer…all of which rly aren’t needed, but wanted some bling

My Bigrrr didn't last. Shs HT runs too hot. You'd be better off running a lower gear ratio and higher TPA motor

G'day. It's still going strong mate. I think I'm getting a bit of PME using my bigger lipos but that's on 38rps. Will need to short stroke another tooth or bump up the spring. Not sure what my plans are yet..
