Baited! But since I am here, there is another option. Sell your business, and get employed by the new owner! I started my production company in 2020 and sold it late 2023. As part of the sale, I agreed to stay on to run Operations for a minimum 2 years with the option to stay longer term if the relationship worked for both parties. It’s been an amazing move for me. Essentially get the best of both worlds with a successful exit, and then maintain a dream job in a company that I built.
