I left my government job after completing college at ISU. I worked there all throughout college and they gave me a full time position that would climb to 80k in like 5+ years (45k first couple years). I hated being in a cubicle. I left Oct 2023, 10 months after receiving my position and graduating. This first year on my own I am set to hit 80k+ and I'm looking for an editor haha. Too many jobs not enough editing time for me. Hi Ross. Could you make a more detailed video that specifically tackles the strategies you used to find new clients during the early growth phase of your company and how you did it? Basically 95% my clients are referrals and while I'm listed on google and have started the SEO game, I want to be more active in my own pursuit of new clients. Everyone glazes over trade show networking, cold calls, dms, emails...etc but I would love to see more on what you actually do when you use those avenues because for me, it's 1 in a 1000 to actually land a new client this way without a referral and I think the problem I have is finding the right business or companies to actually look for.
