HP 15s-fq1052TU shows up with a glitching screen and picking strange resolutions. TL;DR; nothing appears to be wrong with the display but might likely be a recurrence of the W10-Intel driver obscure behaviours that mimicked a bad cable.

What a coincidence, I have a HP on my bench with the same problem. Customer replaced the screen an it made no difference. Screen flickers on windows 11 only after it has been updated. It seems to be the intel graphics driver version that starts with 26… I downloaded the version 27.. from hp site and it seems to have cured it. As for the pull tabs, try the iPhone ones, one in each corner should be enough to hold it

I got hit with this with the W10 transition, it certainly *looks* like a typical cable issue; just didn't expect I'd be seeing it with a W11 transition now. If nothing else we got the battery to be replaced. Oh yes, I do have a stack of iP5 single strips I could use but they'd be a bit thin for the gap. For now the judicious use of tesa tape probably will have to do ( I suppose I could have used 2mm wide )

Genuinely does. Very much appreciated. Here's hoping the split of the live vs edited channels helps the main channel regain some momentum that it's lost over the last 3 years too.
